  1. So is Corydon gonna duck Brownstown again this season or are they actually gonna get to play?
  2. Just find it interesting that the Harrison County Health Department decides against this game, but allowed NH to travel to Salem the same night and play a school that has all their schools on Covid lockdown. From the outside looking in it sounds to me like someone just didn’t want to lose again. So this double standard of allowing some and not others is getting really tiresome really quick.
  3. Hard to text sincerity. Sarcasm comes through loud and clear! Lol!!!! Funny how that works!
  4. Well I’m trying to speak very vague and not be hostile. I don’t personally know most of you and vice versa. I don’t wanna point fingers or call out names. I’m just trying to get others people perspectives on when is enough enough both in winning and losing. That’s all.
  5. Its really not an issue of running up a score on someone. It’s more to the point of why play your starters against someone else’s backups? I know first hand how exciting it is for the kids that are JV regulars to say they scored on another teams varsity, but why? What’s the point?
  6. Gentleman i was sitting on the sidelines behind the Braves bench. So let’s just end the mystery and the implications of that theory I’m trying not to create a hostile environment with my comments. I merely trying to figure out some coach’s logic. That’s all.
  7. But when there’s 4:30 left in the fourth quarter of a running clock/mercy rule game and you have seniors and starters on the field being up or down that much at that point...is that a little much?
  8. I guess I’m implying that what the Braves have done all season is maintain a comfortable lead. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Again I know nothing about football coaching strategy, but if I was a coach and looked across the field and seen the other team putting in freshman and underclassmen, then I think I’d wave the white flag; cash in the night, play other kids to give them the experience of actually playing in a varsity matchup. But when you leave in your starters against another teams 2s&3s when you’re either up or down more points than time will allow for a comeback; then you deserve all the criticism from fans, peers, parents, and anyone else that can come up with an opinion that comes your way.
  9. I’m not a coach and I certainly don’t know anything about coaching football. So this is a great opportunity for those of you that are coaches to educate me and others about some of the “unwritten rules” of coaching. When is enough enough in both victory and defeat?
  10. There’s ways to win with dignity snd and ways to lose with dignity. Just sayin’ 39-13.
