See how this all plays out... heard several kids aren't happy along with some parents on the hire..... they must pay a lot of coaching positions if majority stayed and also got some Plymouth coaches to "transfer"

Just seems as if you are a smaller school next to a big one and your opportunity to play Big school football could be limited to senior year that you would go be a solid player at the smaller school.... as to why I mentioned Penn kids to Bremen as an example as that's a perfect scenario.

Interesting and exciting to say the least! Be interesting to see if this creates another opening in our area as a result.

Wondering if any kids have started moving around a bit?? Will some of the Penn overflow head south to Bremen?? Just seems this would be fitting for kids that live such a distance away from Penn but are in Bremen's back yard!!

Have they filled this position yet?? Seems like they would want to ASAP as I'm sure they have solid candidates!!

I believe coaches would / will make things happen..... there are bus pickups in SB as well that could help!

How many of the football players and / or athletes head away from SBSC now that the transfer rule passed?? Seems like it's a no brainer of going from a corporation that is always having issues along with struggling programs year in and year out, to a school that has success, can make an immediate impact with other programs and know there is a solid foundation. Area schools that are not far from them seem like they would attract MANY athletes... Also they have pickup locations already within the corporation territory. I think you'll see them leave SBSC in rapid form honestly. Parents that are involved will see that the change makes sense.... athletically and academically!!!!!

Iwonder how many South Bend athletes will look to head different directions.. several nearby schools that have ahd success and also have pickup locations within the Corporations school district.......

Seems like this rule is punishing seniors... why would they have a different set of rules. Whats fair for one should be fair for all.... less tracking by IHSAA and schools if its a strightline rule.

July 1st it will be in effect of a 1 time transfer acceptance and at that time football will be going and the transfers will be fine!! IHSAA hands are tied on this one.... for now it will be a free for all......GAME ON!!!

I'm hearing multiple kids have already made some moves and others are on the verge!!! Rosters wont look as expected this upcoming season!!

Getting closer to opening the door to kids going where they know they can be successful and play for a coach they truly want to !!!!

I'm sure there are kids throughout the state that can't wait for this to be passed and officially released!!

Im sure some Northern Indiana Coaches will put in.... which will intern create another opening in our area..... will be interesting who puts in for it!!

I did not see that in the House Bill at all... but i agree if so it would be an unfair rule for upperclassman for sure!

I agree with this..... Transfers are going to be intersting soon!!!! CORRECT!!! No more picking and choosing based on being mad cause your school lost an athlete!!! Administrations wont have a grip on it anymore.... GAME ON!!

Makes sense but i will bet there are schools not signing off due to where they would be going and others that falsely moved...... either way this will pass and schools will benefit from it for sure

Wow seems like the previous / current teams doing it are illegal doing so based on current rules... guess this could level the playing field

Oh wow so teams that have a kid wanting to transfer could practice during summer and then come July 1st put his official transfer in and no questions asked will be on that teams roster no matter what....or even leave a current school once this passes and come July 1st can for sure play for that school immediately.... this will be hard on some programs and others will benefit from it.

If passed how soon will this go into place? Could get interesting for sure
