  1. Seems like good draws all around for the NLC. Didn't look like anyone got screwed over. Plymouth with as good of a draw as they could've hoped for. NP and CMA on the other side.
  2. People are sleeping on Lafayette Jeff... D1 in every position group. If their QB is healthy, their offensive schemes and talent will toast the North.
  3. Barring a miracle, looks like Plymouth will at least own a share of the conference title. Impressive through the air yet again.
  4. If I’m not mistaken too the Davis kid for Plymouth hasn’t been healthy most of the season. All state LB/RB last year.
  5. Battle of opposites schematically. Plymouth is throwing it all over the yard to some stellar athletes. NP historically doesn't defend passing attacks well at all. NP obviously is down the hill, here we come football with hefties up front and a stud catching snaps. Comes down to can Plymouth stop the run, and can NP defend the pass. I expect Special Teams and whoever ends up on the right side of some trick plays to decide this one. Personally, I think whoever wins that one is playing for a Semi-State game.
  6. A year of the toss-ups. Chance for some non-conventional schools to play on Thanksgiving... 1A will be nice to see a school from the North not named Central Catholic or Pioneer. 2A may finally see Mater Dei raise the trophy after all of this 21st century success with no titles 3A that West Laf, Chatard, Guerin Catholic and Brebeuf might have the best non-6A talent out of any sectional 4A interests me. Could see a few schools making their first appearances in a very long time, maybe for the very first time in Lucas Oil. 5A has 4 legitimate teams IMO.. New Pal (obviously), Valpo, 4A champs Dwenger, and Cathedral 6A Look out for a Lafayette Jeff run. North 6A could be vulnerable for a non-Penn/Carmel representative
  7. We sure about that? Jeff is 3rd in 6A, Cathedral 3rd in 5A... Jeff has elite talent in just about every position group.
  8. You and John Harrell think a lot alike ...................... hm
  9. Predictions: Concord and NW handily. Honestly don't even want to post a possible score. Plymouth over Memorial, but it could be close. Memorial has speed, as does Plymouth. Plymouth struggles at times against the run, BUT, the run game in not Memorials strong suit. Will be a battle of skill positions. 31-21. Warsaw over Northridge. Close game, low scoring, but the Tigers prevail late. 24-17.
  10. I'll say this right now for those who haven't seen him: The Barron kid @ Plymouth is the real deal. 46 GOTW showed he makes some boy throws. Has some dudes around him too.
  11. Rockies roll yet again..... might be time to give them a little respect ....
  12. Very cool. Not only has he consistently made far kicks, but clutch kicks as well. Great to see Northern IN kids make it big.
  13. Been reading these NLC threads for years. Love when the homers are wrong. (Players see these too btw, I'm sure it fuels their fire)
  14. Lmaooo the Plymouth haters are mighty quiet this morning..... tail between legs? Awful lot of confidence in this thread Pro-Tigers... or arrogance... any other excuses the people need to hear about? All ears 😂
