Word is this might be happening a year sooner than planned, with the remaining ICC schools adding replacements for 2025-2026.  Can anyone comfirm?

The only 2 schools that make sense from a size and location stand point are Edgewood and Owen Valley.  Not really wanting that, there’s just not many options.  Webo and Cascade would be good, but they just separated from Sagamore and ICC.  

So did the exclusion of Tri West from joining the ICC cause this riff? Can't help but notice that the four public schools are divorcing the four private schools. Has the P/P dilemma become an issue in this conference?

Hard to believe that not approving Tri-West for inclusion led to the split.  The no votes for Tri-West came from public schools (TC/BG).

This is simply the public schools wishing to join/create a public school conference.

Their replacements in the ICC will likely be p/p schools, so we'll now  have a small-school  p/p conference in the Indy area to join the Circle City conference.

The No votes came from all 3 private schools when replacing Cascade......so Covenant Christian was voted in.... this all came really quickly...  if the no votes came from TC/BG then we wouldn't be having a new conference with TW and IC with those school currently.

I would like to see Linton In the WiC.  It's been a possibility for several years.  It's getting more and more difficult to make a FB schedule each year.  The Miners would be competitive in the major sports but don't compete in others such as wrestling, swimming, soccer, In the past most of the WIC schools were 3A.  That may have changed a bit now.  Linton opens the season this year against Mation Local, a small school powerhouse from northern Ohio.  Three consecutive state titles in their class.  They'll come to Linton going for their 50th straight victory.  The Miners will be pretty good this year so that will be a good early test. Had a young team last year and went 10 - 2 with a couple of OT losses.-

Linton will be very good this year I believe. With Oliver/Gennicks they will be tough. Always a tough team to play, we get them Week 2 this year as opposed to Week 3 every year, and I believe that this will continue for the foreseeable future between the Bulldogs and the Miners. We have to replace an entire backfield, but bring back most of our line and alot of our defensive players. Should be a great match up at the Roy this year.
