Do this at your own risk. Don't browse any unknown websites while this is on:

You can disable SSL certificate checks in Google Chrome by launching the browser with the --ignore-certificate-errors command-line flag. [1]
How to Turn Off SSL Checking
  • Close Chrome: Shut down all running instances of Google Chrome completely.
  • Open Properties: Right-click your Chrome shortcut (on your desktop or taskbar) and select Properties. [1]
  • Edit Target: In the Target field, go to the very end of the text path, add a space, and type --ignore-certificate-errors.
    • Example: "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --ignore-certificate-errors [1]
  • Save and Launch: Click Apply and OK, then open Chrome using that specific shortcut. [1, 2]
