23andCounting Posted Saturday at 11:37 AM Posted Saturday at 11:37 AM 1. Dwenger - Have yet to allow an offensive touchdown in regulation. That will be tested this Friday. 2. Carroll - The battle of all battles coming up Friday night. I've been saying that Carroll is the benchmark......but are they? 3. East Noble - Nice win over the Vikings. Defense has some work to do. 4. Homestead - The Spartans are pretty good, and they'll have their chance to prove it this Friday against Northrop. Still not much love for them in NE Indiana. 5. Eastside - I'm hesitant to put the Blazers this high in the poll among much larger schools, but they just keep winning. Their resiliency is second to none. 6. Columbia City - Stock is up on the Eagles for now. Will it crash like it always does later in the season? Stay tuned. 7. Snider - Their manhandling of Luers was telling. There's a gap between the big schools and small schools. Panthers are just a few mistakes away from 3-0. 8. Bluffton - Another win and no ones been close. 9. Northrop - Nice win over North Side. Massive test coming up this Friday with Homestead. 10. Dekalb - Nice start for the Barons at 3-0. We'll see what they're really made of this Friday against East Noble. 11. Adams Central - Dropping at no fault of their own. Just some teams ahead of them posting impressive wins. 12. Leo - Huge upside for the Lions. They'll go higher from here. Let's not put too much stock into their loss to Chatard. 13. Huntington North - Big opportunity to impress this Friday against Columbia City. 14. North Side - It's still too early to draw too many conclusions. And we may not have an answer for another five weeks. Stock has certainly dropped though. 15. South Side - Losing two games in a row by double digits is an interesting way to crack the Top 15. But losing to the Spartans by 17 doesn't make you a bad team. First teams out: Luers and Angola Quote

First teams out: Luers and Angola Love the way Eastside plays football, but they aren’t beating Snider, Columbia City, Northrop, Huntington North, DeKalb, or Leo. That’s just being real… 1 Quote
