Football is back and so are the fans in the stands!   Here's to a good and healthy year to all teams in the conference!

Couple predictions for the NE8 this year:

Still a two team race for the conference title between Leo and EN.

Columbia City will be last years Norwell and have a really good year.

I'm putting the odds at 50/50 the 4A North State Representative comes from the NE8 ... either Leo/EN

Kainon Carico(EN) comes out of nowhere and leads conference in rushing at +2000yds.

Week 1 Matchups:

Adams Central @ Bellmont    --    AC by 21

Angola @ Dekalb    --    Angola by 7

Col City @ Churubusco    --    Col City by 14

EN @ Plymouth    --    EN by 20

Garrett @ New Haven    --    New Haven by 17

Huntington North @ Eastbrook    --    Eastbrook by 21

Jennings County @ Norwell    --    Norwell by 10

Leo @ Woodlan    --    Leo by 24

Adams Central @ Bellmont    --    AC by 14 - Bellmont looking to get things back on track this year, but AC is always tough.

Angola @ Dekalb    --    Dekalb by 14 - Dekalb missed a ton of games last season, but should be in the top half of the NE8 this year.

Col City @ Churubusco    --    Col City by 28 - 4A vs 1A and busco isn't what they used to be. Bolt has a huge night.

EN @ Plymouth    --    EN by 14 - Sophomore QB for EN who needs a confidence boost to start the year.

Garrett @ New Haven    --    New Haven by 28 - New Haven has a new coach and this should be a good tune up game for them.

Huntington North @ Eastbrook    --    HN by 7 - HN has been improving, they will test every team this year.

Jennings County @ Norwell    --    Norwell by 10 - Norwell lost a lot, but with the recent program success the kids should be buying in.

Leo @ Woodlan    --    Leo by as many as they want - Woodlan hasn't scored a point against Leo since 2014 and that trend probably continues.

Yeah I agree with this.  Looking forward to an SAC schedule shakeup so that the two conferences can play some games against each other.
