South Putnam at Greencastle ©, 7 pm
Sullivan at Linton, 7 pm

Some rivalry games in the WIC this week. Big week for some teams.

BC @ Indian Creek - IC in a blowout and by as much as they want. IC 42-7.

Cascade @ Cloverdale - Both teams struggling this year. Cascade 28-21.

Covenant @ North Put - Not much to say about this one. Covenant wins 35-14.

Northview @ West Vigo - I usually have high hopes for this one but not right now. Northview is dominating on both sides of the ball. WV has trouble stopping the run and that's what Northview does best. Northview 63-7.

Owen Valley @ Edgewood - Big rivalry game for these two. Gonna be a dogfight. OV is the much better team right now. OV wins 42-14.

South Put @ Greencastle - South Put is strong once again this year. G'Castle looked good against a weak WV defense. South Put wins 35-14.

Sullivan @ Linton - Another big rivalry game. These two absolutely hate each other. Wouldn't expect anything else than a hard hitting game. Linton wins 35-14.

Week 4 Rivalry Week! Let's Go!

Brown County at Indian Creek-  BC has really fallen on hard times this year.  Indian Creek too much offense, too much defense in this match up.

Cascade at Cloverdale-  It is always nice to celebrate a win.  Cloverdale is riding high after their first W since 2019.  Cascade is in a rebuild themselves but are a year further in to their rebuild.  Coach Simmons and Cascade should have a big day.

Covenant Christian at North Putnam-  The young Cougars are off to a difficult start.  I don't see it getting any better this week.  Look for Covenant to put up a lot of points but the Cougars may surprise some on how many points they put up this week.

Northview at West Vigo- Going to be a tough one here.  West Vigo will fight hard but these programs are on two different levels in terms of their program development right now.  West Vigo is trying to build, and Northview is already built as a program.

Owen Valley at Edgewood-  They play this game for a trophy and pride.  This will be Edgewood's biggest game of the regular season.  The Patriots have the better roster but do they get caught in a rivalry game looking forward to next weeks match up? Probably not, but it makes for good drama.

South Putnam at Greencastle-  South's speed vs Greencastle's strength.  This will be the best game of the week in the WIC.  Can the Tiger Cubs ground and pound game keep that SP explosive offense off the field? Can South Putnam defense hold up to Greencastle's rushing attack?  Turnovers and special teams will be the difference here and SP has the advantage there.

Sullivan at Linton-  Something is just different with the Arrows.  This might be the toughest team that they have faced yet this season.  Hopeful for a good showing from a WIC team in this game but not too confident it will happen.  Sullivan will need to execute their passing game on all cylinders to have a chance.

Love this week!!!

Brown County at Indian Creek-  Sample at BC is good schematically. He will find a way to get some yards. IC has the players and coach to win big. IC 63-7.

Cascade at Cloverdale-  Cloverdale got better over night by hiring Tyler Lotz. Cascade is a little further along in their program building, I agree. Cascade wins 34-14.

Covenant Christian at North Putnam-  I do not know much about CC. Saw North Putnam over the summer and was impressed with their scheme. But, CC 42-21.

Northview at West Vigo- Northview runs the ball extremely well. They will take control of this one early and win 35-7.

Owen Valley at Edgewood-  Long history of rivalry in this one. Can never count a rivalry team out. Owen Valley too strong this year. 42-14.

South Putnam at Greencastle-  South Putnam and Greencastle both play extremely hard. Both will play tough defense. South Putnam wins with speed 42-28

Sullivan at Linton-  Haven't seen the same out of Sullivan as we did last year. Linton runs away with this one 48-14.
