Eagles go down to Cincy and pitch a shutout, avenging last season’s OT loss with a 6-0 win at Moeller.

I have not seen that score yet, too much baseball yesterday.   Good win for you Eagles, still have some concerns with their offense, but will see how it plays out now that it is tournament time.

To be honest, their next game against Archbishop Hoban might be their toughest game of the year. Would not be surprised to see them lose against the Div. 2 2020 champs and 2021 runners up, and current #1. I believe even with a loss, the Eagles would start the playoffs with a home game.

Tough way to end a season, Hoban and Moeller.

They also beat Elder, St. Ignatius, and 3 time defending Colorado state big school champ Cherry Creek. This is why I laugh when people argue against a playoff qualification system because “teams will load up with a cream puff schedule” to game the system. That’s one way to go, but certainly not the only one.

Eagles end the regular season by crushing Div. 2 #1 Archbishop Hoban, 41-20.
