  1. Attica @ Clinton Prairie- Ramblers turn it on in 2nd half for win in Jefferson. Covington @ ROX- Will Wilkey play this week? Won't matter as ROX roll again. Indiana Deaf @ Riverton Parke- The Deaf Hoosier head to Mecca with a "W" in mind, but would not be shocked if RP pulls this one out. Seeger @ Benton Central- The Bison get this one at home. South V @ NV- The battle of the county schools goes to the one located up north. Turkey Run @ Fountain Central- Subs in early as Stangs rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.
  2. WRC Week 2

What a game in Jefferson tonight. Attica trailed 25-20 & forced a CP punt with less than 2 to go. Attica driving and got a pass interference call that extended the drive. Attica QB sacked with 12 seconds to go and the clock runs out, but CP is called for a delay of game penalty givingAHS one last shot. TD pass on final play for a 26-25 win.
  3. Wabash River Conference

    Attica 64-0
  4. WRC

Not disappointed by showing. The Cougars are pretty good.
  5. Wabash River Conference

Looks like a wet ball night. Lightning please stay away until 10 pm.
  6. Wabash River Conference

They should have never left when they went to 3A a decade ago. I would not mind them coming back to WRC. They really only dominated Olympic sports, but were very average overall in the other sports. Only negative for us is that it is a 60 minute trip no matter how you slice the cake.
  7. Wabash River Conference

It's the most wonderful time of the year. I see Week 1 shaking out like this: RP@Attica~ The Big Red returns a ton of seniors ready to take the next step. Attica big over the Black Cats. ROX @ Seeger ~ Seeger has a new coach and a new QB. ROX return Wilkie. ROX by a couple of scores. Cov @ South V~ Trojans improved from last year. I will take the Cats at home. TRun @ NV~ NV will miss Woodard @ Clark, but will clobber TRun behind ex Warrior Earl. Southmont @ FC~ Stangs have 19 seniors looking to play at the Oil Can. Pierce to Woodrow many times in victory #1.
  8. Play a non conference game week 1. Everyone makes the playoffs and they are not seeded, so a loss would not kill your season.
  9. 2000 Class A semistate at Attica. Perry Central driving to win the game as they are trailing 8-6 late in the fourth. PC has a 4 and short and they throw a bubble screen to Either? and Josh Smith either intercepts it or pig steals and runs 77 yards for the TD to clinch it.
  10. WRC

Attica had a 11 on 11 vs Northfield Saturday. We had our varsity playing except I think we were missing three players due to injury, baseball & work. Started 9 seniors on Saturday against a bunch of great young men and coaches from Northern Wabash County. Refreshing to see kids help one another up and coaches having fun on the field. We play NCF and South V this week, then it will be show time. Young Harmeson looked good at QB. Davis, Blackburn, Campbell and Durham excelled as well. All of the kids, when they got in, played well for a hats and pads scrimmage. Beautiful day for football. Have a good day SD & EC. Time to get to work.
  11. WRC

    I do.
  12. Is it too late to sign up?
  13. WCC Conference News?

South V back to the WRC?
  14. Any relation to former Cathedral & St. Joe player Dennis?
  15. Wow...May God look over them in their time of neeed. Prayers from this Rambler.
  16. Too bad travel would be a huge issue, but the Rebels would be a good fit for the WRC.
  17. Where does this leave North White & South Newton?
  18. Kudos to the Mustangs. They came out throwing, got the lead & then ran it down our throats. Their defense was suffocating...we only broke one long one with the Davis TD pass from Brady. Good luck next week in Minerville. The 2 South regionals should be great games with Linton vs FC & South Put vs EH. Whoever survives the next 2 weeks will certainly earn it. On another note, Shouts out to my Red Ramblers. Back to Back sectional final appearances with 8-4 records. You keep knocking on the door and we will kick the dang thing in one of these years...WRC...
  19. Friday night or Saturday regional game at LS?
  20. You look at a few moments during the season that either make or break you. I would have to say the goal line stand vs. Milford/Cissna Park was HUGE for Attica this season. It seemed to give us our confidence back & we have not lost since then. When Davis plays 4 quarters..AHS 8-0, when he doesn't ...AHS 0-3. On paper FC should beat us, but from what I saw at NV last week I would not be shocked if AHS wins. You get a group of people believing in themselves and striving to obtain one common goal; look out; they could be hard to take down. We will find out in 27 hours...
  21. Do I have this correct? If Attica wins & Perry Central wins= regional at Attica If FC wins, PC wins= regional at PC If Attica wins & Linton wins= regional at Linton If FC & Linton wins=regional at Linton
  22. Turnovers will be the story. FC turned it over 7 times vs. NV, NV turned it over 4 times vs AHS ;last week...You give a team good field position & extra bullets for their guns...anything can happen.
