  1. No, your outliers are P/P schools that can recruit kids in a wider base, and that base is also Indianapolis. South Adams would have major violations for recruiting if it attempted that.
  2. At small schools, there's nothing to develop if you don't happen to have at least some talent. South Adams ebs and flows as a program because some years the talent just isn't there. You can develop a good program from youth through high school, but sometimes the talent simply isn't there. You're more likely to pull that talent from 1000 kids rather than 300, which is why numbers matter. The Chatard's and Cathedral's are outliers because they are P/P, the school size is smaller, but they still have a large talent pool to work with in terms of bringing kids in.
  3. 48 on the roster and that’s one of the best I’ve ever seen. And that’s out of at best 180 boys, which the number is probably less because some recent grades haven’t had as many boys.

  5. I believe that South Adams got bumped a few years ago after they won sectional and the next year a regional, but that may have been due to enrollment. South Adams did win a sectional after upsetting number 1 ranked Woodlan in 2A. But 2A and maybe 3A is South Adams' ceiling, and that's competing for sectionals, forget about going for state titles. Size of school is a huge factor, and the fact that you don't understand it shows that you don't know anything about small school football.
  6. Hey, none of that bad juju. Go away. But in all seriousness, I like having Monroe Central second round. With the system being what it is, I'd rather have the tough opponent second round, have an "easier" game in the sectional finals then get whoever had to claw their way through the other sectional.
  7. Seeding a sectional in wrestling is way different than seeding a sectional in football. Wrestling gets you 30+ points of data vs 9 you would get in football. Those kids are also more likely to compete against others in their sectional, not just a mainly conference schedule all season.
  8. No, trust me, West Laf would wreck South Adams. Not even close. There’s a difference between big schools, and then big schools with four star D1 athletes. I’ve seen a lot of WL as a Purdue fan keeping tabs on the Karlaftis brothers, and Yanni would wreck any SA game plan.
  9. Oh, they’d get the hell beat out them for sure. What I’m asking is how that makes you better? Strength of schedule only matters if you can compete and get something out of it.
  10. How does getting blanked 50-0 against West Lafayette make you better? Just curious
  11. James Arnold ended with 30-45 for 471 yards 4 TDs and a rushing touchdown.
