I did bring up Rossville. I was trying to see the thought process....a school with no football to 8 man... but I forgot that...11 man is superior .....8 man is doing big things at schools and it is going to take off. It is here and Co-op is not.

It says Rossville....How would you feel if they wanted to start football but they wanted to go 8 man and that was the BEST option for the school?? Would you support that?

They do in fact have a state championship. They have a D1 and D2 bracket. It is a MHSAA sport. I think with the amount of 1A schools that are slowly getting smaller.... it will help keep them playing. Its going to get bigger in Indiana. Co-ops will not get any traction.

I have seen it 2 times. An OL - big kid. Did well at the D3 level. I also saw a RB that didn't have it to play D3.

Yes, I am aware of that. I coached in the state of Michigan. My point is that having 8 man football is helping save the sport for kids and schools...

I think both of those are solid. I do not think the state is willing or wanting to dive into that sadly.

I did not see that post when I commented. A lot of 1A schools are trying to hang on to the 11 man as long as they can...sadly a few more need to let it go and jump on the 8 man game plan. It is not a bad thing allowing kids to still play the game.

30??? Sir I am not sure you have seen a 1a sideline, but 30 just is not gonna happen at A LOT of schools

The fact that this is happening with that low of numbers at SN is absolutely killing me inside....
