Whos their starting QB? Mconell or jenkins? Thinking about going to the BEST WRC GAME of the week this week and writing a recap after words. Not sure anyone will want a dumbaSS's opionion but would be fun and stroke my ego enough to show off my knowledge. Which games would be the best to watch weeks 1-9? base it off sag rankings? someone put that into the GPT for me!

I think Brad would agree, guess we will see if I’m right huh. I’m not sure if they have a true spread guy leading that portion of their offense or maybe they are just getting the box opened up to run the ball more effectively? Heck even Kevin has met me for lunch to talk over my offense for his JH program. -KDiddy- if Rector wanted to have Shelsky and company lead him to a deep playoff run, he would have already called me to be his OC. Losing Vandiver was a massive loss, he’s coaching all aspects of the game. I was actually asked to not come back to help with junior high at PH. I was told I “yell too much” from the HC and the upcoming kids “wouldn’t be able to handle it if I yelled over a dropped pass.” I think my presence was a distraction as I was looked at as the head coach by players, parents, officials, and opponents, I did my best to stay out of the way, but maybe I took too much shine away from the head coach I got the job for, what I thought was a good friend! Sad for our community, a great group of athletes, and the program I have helped build. Excited to have my Saturdays off from youth league though. This was allowed by Rector, and both AD’s. Thankfully to save my ego, I was contacted by North Central, Attica, Jeff, North Put, and 3 others that I’m not going to post but I plan on taking the year off, finishing my home and continuing to grow spiritually, fiscally, and mentally. I learned Moore in 5 years from Coach Moore, then most assistants learn in a lifetime. I will coach again someday and help build a program that bases its success off winning in grades 3-12 both on and off the field and bringing pride to a community again. I’m an acquired taste I get it, but my former players love me and we won. Thats all that matters. -Hope the Wolves all the success. Riverton will win the WRC and unless they screw it up should def win the sectional, who will their opponents be in the regional, semi, etc?

As soon as I thought you knew football. You don’t have to have absolute studs to run this offense lol. We ran it with 5 offensive lineman under 200 lbs and not a single one was an ALL WRC player. You throw or run the ball where they aren’t, it’s a number game. You sound like Rich, he likes to call me a “front runner” even after I let his son pass for 50 touchdowns this year. I tried sticking around Bear, I came back after a year off and wanted to help, we went to Linton and got killed and had our backs and receivers screaming at lineman, on the phone at halftime texting their parents (any surprise those kids have all been in legal trouble since graduating). I run practice the following Monday as Coach Rector had a medical emergency, show up to practice with 8 varsity starters not there and 2 other “coaches” not there. I'm not saying the current coaches are inferior, but the work ethic isn’t there, they play video games with their players, it’s lackadaisical, the kids are fine doing that as well. Rector is now a one man band after losing Vandiver. Couldn’t find a better man, but he needs help. Noble Johnson’s the biggest pain I have ever coached, but if practice wasn’t going smooth or you weren’t working, we didn’t have to say much, he would handle it. We don’t have kids like that. Is that the type of program you’d want to stick around for? I resigned before I got myself fired. Maybe I was spoiled under Moore, he trusted me and let me do what I do, but he held me to a standard that my offensive line and special teams would perform or I’d be ridiculed like the players. Our kids feared us, but now respect and love us, I’m 100% positive I’ll stand up with multiple of them in their weddings someday. I asked rector if he was open to switching his offense I would love to come back and he could call the defense, like he’s always done. He’s not interested, I’m not going to bang my head off the wall and attack walled cities. I thought after seeing the kids he had coming from JH he would jump on. Let’s also not forget to mention me starting and running our youth league for the last 7/8 years. That ends this year. What’s that old saying? “Don’t bite the hand that feeds ya?” Best of luck to whoever I can find to take it over. Sadly you’re right, our facilities continue to slack and the difference between us and other local schools gets more and more noticeable. also agree, Cronk will have the ball rolling at SEEGER, but don’t see them beating the panthers this year.

Nonsense? I said anything that’s not true? Is this not the worst the conference has been in how long? Do the panthers not need to have the ability to open the field at all? Would have been nice against south put and the studs they had in the box. When the wolves had the Johnson brothers it was all or nothing. This year’s panthers team, it’s all or nothing. Ask Brad if he feels the same. Do you think he cares about “making history” being the smartest kid on the shortbus or will his season be determined if the panthers can play in Lucas oil? Not hard to figure out but sure hard to stop isn’t it! lol you like stats, look at Moore’s wolves teams, Rochester Rockets, North Put, Lafayette Jeff, or anyone else who runs this exact offense. But you’re exactly right buddy, the fields spread open, pick your poison, a 5-6 man box is perfect for draw, DB’s want to play tight, we will go over the top, if they want to play off, we will spit it out to our athletes in the open field and let you try to tackle us in the open field. You’re not as dumb as you act, you get it. I don’t get fired up when someone pushes back on what I say, but don’t act like any of my takes are wrong. I’d give you a little more respect when you have the sack to put your name on here, I’ve been listening to Kevin for years, he’s a pain in the a$$ but he’s no coward. Kevin and I will fund the entire GID yearly fund if it’s required for your full name to be on here.

You must talk to different school board members from each above mentioned school than I have. Did your sister not help you understand sarcasm, I don’t want to be a Panther, I just want to beat the wolves in grades 3-12 out of my pride and ego. I looked at your profile bear, seems 50% of your replies are to me. I appreciate the words of encouragement, but I don’t take advice from someone who doesn’t have the sack to put their real name on a public forum. I don’t have to beg for a job… that’s the pro of being a right hand man of one of the best IHSAA coaches ever, I can coach anywhere. I’ve been contacted by every WRC school except 2, Jeff, North Central, North Put, could be at THS with one call. Moore’s endorsement is all I need, and I have that. I don’t care about what they were ranked at and all the mumbo jumbo you mentioned above, they play in the worst conference in Indiana right now, they had a great year but it’s still like being the smartest kid on the short bus. And from what Kevin Allen told me Saturday, it’s going to be even worse this next year, I don’t see how but it’s sad. They have one more shot to win a state title, then they take a drop, they need a passing game of some sort to make that run happen, south put loaded the box, the run game would have been a tad bit easier if it forced 2-4 of those boys out of the box…. but hell I’m the dumba$$ arguing with a keyboard warrior about HS football so what do I know? None of those stats matter, last years team will be known as the team that had a great regular season and blew it in the sectional championship when up 2 scores, and I’m not discrediting, been there 3 times as a coach, it sucks. It’s either state title or bust for sanders and company. Not my wolves! If you want traction on your site, let grown men have discussions about other grown men, we aren’t talking about children, a firing, or anything negative, lighten up. This thread has gotten more attention than any others this off season. I’m not attaching a news article but Riverton Parke is closing down one of their elementary schools at the end of this year, let’s discuss Parke County’s future. How many Montezuma parents are going to drive all the way to Rosedale instead of Rockville or SV? So when Parke Heritage and Riverton Parke consolidate, what class will they be? Do they stay in the WRC and be a big brother like SV? How do they pick a coach? Is it based off wins? Being a teacher? Must be a neutral party? What about supporting staff? Sanders has 15 assistants and good ones knocking on the door to get in on the fun. Parke Heritage is losing the only coach on staff who has any sort of experience being a coordinator, Rector is going to be a one man band. What do you do with a quarterback like Schelsky coming? Would be the conferences best quarterback next year as an 8th grader. Assuming Charlie will retire, does Rich go find a coach that can get his son a scholarship? How will this community respond? Brad, I know you read this, still waiting to meet and talk over quick game and opening the field up, going to need to spread the field somewhat if you want to play in Lucas oil. If you have Jack Kiser, you can make a run that way, if not you gotta be able to spread it out and get all your athletes involved. Hilarious. I was a decent player for 1A football, we won a lot of games under coach king, over 40, and had a lot of fun. Mostly road the coattails of Matt King, Kent, etc and lost to the FC state finalists in back to back sectional championships my JR and SR year. Bastards. I coached under Moore for 5-6 years here at PH and ran his OL, and learned as much offense as I could cram in from him and Coach Sheldon. RIP. Been doing lots of studying and helped with the PH JH this year. To be a good head coach you have to be in the building and manage your players in weights everyday, that’s not an option for me. On a serious note, I do plan on coaching at the varsity level again this next year. Like Kevin Allen, I seem to be a bull in a china shop type of character, if you aren’t confident in yourself or want to win at the level I do, I’ll come off the wrong way but I’ll outwork anyone and the kids love me no matter at what level I’m at. We get stuff done, jump on board or stay out the way. If I can coach for Moore, I can coach under anyone. Not sure where I will end up but I need to start making some calls and seeing if I can get hired on. Visor and polos will come with me. Lighten up coach I was just saying to bear that it’s not beneficial to be one dimensional, last time I was busy first week of November is winning a sectional at your place…. I did tell Brad and Kevin to have a RB screen ready for south put coming off your power toss look. Sadly they didn’t listen to me.

I was being a smartellic*{is that a real word?) mentioning cronk coming back to Seeger. Is there legitimacy to that? I’m sure he’s got some little red headed grandsons running around now that are getting close to HS. Has a good gig at Purdue and a good gig at Jeff. Seeger hasn’t been the same since I kicked a last second field goal to beat Brian Moore after he won 43 WRC games in a row in 2007, I single handedly destroyed their program and I remind Coach Moore of it often. I even made him resign and move back to his Alma mater. glory days.
