2024 Election - Biden vs Trump - The rematch

I don't think Mrs. Biden will let him...... Sarah Huckabee Sanders - 🤣 “When I was President Trump’s White House press secretary, I got the chance to take my 4-year-old son up to ‘Bring Your Kid to Work Day,’” “Much like Jill now drags Joe to ‘Bring Your Husband to Work Day’,” -

Is anyone else picking up on some hypocrisy when the SS Chief claiming the "sloped roof" being a reason there was nobody on the roof in Butler, PA. while looking at the snipers that actually shot the guy who were on an even MORE sloped roof? Still shaking my head... -

I tend to agree almost absolutely IO - However, I can't seem to let myself believe they don't have something more up their desperate sleeve(s). They have tried throwing the book at him for almost anything short of removing the tags off his mattress only to have most charges tossed out of court, tried to bankrupt him (which will eventually be tossed out), literally changed existing state laws to charge AND convict him for a book-keeping (misdemeanor) error (also will be tossed out on appeal). Seriously man - what's next? Kinda why SF isn't able to let himself believe the assassination attempt wasn't a set-up as well. (I know - its a long unlikely stretch BR) I also do NOT buy into "Biden's running the Executive Branch" which (IMHO) is a lot easier to conjecture than the assassin conspiracy, I just wonder who is really in charge. Is it Jill, Hillary, Barack? IDK. -
Imagine being a successful Grammy nominated singer getting asked to perform the National Anthem at an occasion like the MLB Home Run Derby during the All-Star week......Then showing up drunk and literally murdering the song......Way off-key and also forgetting some of the words as well.....Just WOW. The New Normal/Political Correctness Run Amok Thread

Another episode of DEI (potentially making a situation worse than it already was). SF noticed the gals on the SS team that they seemed so much shorter than the guys AND shorter than the Principle. One was having trouble finding her holster, one actually ducked BEHIND the former President for a second (which is a violation of protocol that will most likely cost her job during post incident review) before moving in. It just seemed they were in over their heads given the gravity of the situation. Only one gal seemed to have it together during this, but wasn't near the former President until he arrived closer to the egress vehicle. https://nypost.com/2024/07/16/us-news/trump-flanked-by-horde-of-male-secret-service-agents-during-rnc-a-stark-difference-from-deadly-rally/ Trump flanked by horde of male Secret Service agents during RNC — a stark difference from deadly rally By Social Links forEmily Crane Published July 16, 2024, 9:49 a.m. ET Former President Donald Trump was flanked by a horde of male Secret Service agents as he arrived at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee — a stark contrast to the security team protecting him during the assassination attempt. Nearly a dozen burly male agents were spotted surrounding Trump in tight formation as he made an appearance at the GOP convention’s opening night Monday. No female agents could be seen close to him, according to various clips and photos making the rounds on social media. It marked a dramatic change from the security detail protecting Trump at the campaign rally in Butler, Pa., when a sniper opened fire — grazing him in the ear. In that instance, three female agents were among those who could be seen immediately swarming the ex-president and whisking him off stage. 3 US Secret Service agents surround the scene after the shooting.AP It comes after the head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, vowed the agency would “adapt our operations as necessary in order to ensure the highest level of safety and security” for both the RNC and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next month. Cheatle, who has faced growing calls to resign in the wake of the assassination attempt, also insisted that “changes” had already been implemented to ensure Trump’s “continued protection for the convention and the remainder of the campaign.” It wasn’t immediately clear if the beefed-up male detail was among those changes. Some on social media were quick to hail the boost in testosterone, claiming they’d be able to better protect the former commander-in-chief. “This makes sense, Biology gives no f–ks to your opinions. This is a better way to protect the man,” one user tweeted. Another added, “Trump’s new secret service team is all MEN now. During the assassination attempt, women agents were seen fumbling with holsters, hiding behind Trump, and generally being inept. Is security or the military really a good place for women?” Both Cheatle and her agency have come under intense scrutiny following Trump’s brush with death on stage at a campaign rally. Critics have argued that Cheatle, a 28-year Secret Service veteran, has focused too much on woke “diversity, equity and inclusion” (DEI) initiatives — including declaring her intention to make sure the department was 30% women by 2030 — at the expense of security. In the aftermath of the shooting, former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker told The Post that the three female agents assigned to Trump’s security detail that day were clearly in over their heads when the bullets started flying. “The women I saw up there with the president — they looked like they were running in circles. One didn’t know how to holster, the other one didn’t seem to know what to do, and another one seemed not to be able to find her holster,” he said. “DEI is one thing. Competence and effectiveness is another, and I saw DEI out there.” -

Seeing the Teamsters pop in to the RNC was kinda cool to see and odd to SF. Didn't totally agree with everything the man said pertaining to corporate profits, but he made some sense on varying economy/workers topics. Still not a union guy though but feels like the party is opening up a little. A sign that Trump is having some heavier influence? -

Like I posted earlier BR. In my eyes a complete failure in the command - I am hearing that "the CS didn't immediately get clearance to fire once a threat was identified" IF- IF - IF that is the case with the amount of trained eyes landing on the target someone is complicit. On the other side of the coin, IF - IF - IF this were that case - you would have thought they would have recruited someone other than a kid who couldn't make the HS league shooting club because of his lack of skills. (That alone tells me he was just a Kook out there on his own) - but still how does a 20 year old kid carrying a rifle get that close to a former President who is protected by a team that is under the purview of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas? (who is doing such a great job at our southern border) -

Guys - There's nothing strange going on here. A 20 year shooter had never used social media or posted a single thing on the internet, ever and his phone cannot be accessed because it has a password that even our government's best hackers can't get around. Stole his dad's long gun and was able to get within 200 yards of a former President and take a few shots before getting killed. That's all - normal stuff.......And now the FBI is on the case so yeah, it's all good...... -

A man who should be comfortably retired, somewhere near the equator swimming with the pigmies in maybe in New Guinea - the only President in modern history to lose money by being President - the target of way too many phony prosecutions (one that was just thrown out by a judge in Florida) just to keep him from becoming President again, now the target of an assassin - if you truly believe he's in this for himself - SMH..... I guess if you can't throw him in Jail, if you can't make him go broke, if you can't stop him from running, you may have to kill him..... BTW - In case anyone forgot - He would have run as a 3rd party in 2016 except he knew the 2 party system wouldn't let him win.
-
In case anyone forgets - Yet, the riots in the cities after George Floyd was OK? https://nypost.com/2024/07/14/us-news/biden-insists-we-are-not-enemies-calls-for-unity-after-trump-assassination-attempt-in-rare-oval-office-address/ “Violence has never been the answer, whether it’s been with members of both parties being targeted and shot, or a violent mob attacking the Capitol on Jan. 6, or a brutal attack on the spouse of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, or intimidation of election officials, or a kidnapping plot against a sitting governor or an attempted assassination on Donald Trump,” Biden said. “There is no place in America for this kind of violence — for any violence ever, period, no exceptions. We cannot allow this violence to be normalized.”

Someone will lose their job at Secret Service - There is a 500 - 1000 rule in the SS. No weapons within 1000 ft of the principle, no movement unnoticed/ignored within 500 feet. Also - the only 2 counter-sniper troops positioned right next to each other. This guy was 400 ft away - It appeared one CS had his sights on the assassin but didn't pull the trigger until he shot first. Either complete negligence by the perimeter command (hard to believe) or a conspiracy to remove Trump (hard to accept). -

1) First mistake - Pretty sure his handler had told him not to let anybody see his pre-determined list of reporters he was supposed to call on during his "Unscripted" "Big Boy" news conference. 2) Second mistake - Pretty sure Former President Trump is NOT his Vice President like President Biden stated while answering the first question. 3) Actually impressed he was able to stay kinda coherent for the entire performance. 4) Still want to know who is really running the Executive Branch.....

Biden's "Big Boy" press conference this evening - his first in 2 years.......SMH I would have never imagined (when this thread started with a couple knuckleheads celebrating while we were predicting Mr. Biden wouldn't last 6 months before a geriatric episode took him out) that today the term "Big Boy" would be used to describe a Presidential press conference...... Again - as I said at the start of this thread - There is no way on God's Green Earth this President (legally) garnered more votes than any other President in history....No way. https://nypost.com/2024/07/11/us-news/bidens-high-stakes-big-boy-press-conference-delayed-so-it-might-miss-evening-news-broadcasts/ White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has repeatedly referred to the event as a “big boy” press conference where many reporters will be called upon — with the phrase irking some fellow West Wing staffers, who view it as infantilizing the commander-in-chief. Biden advocates hope he will provide a lucid and forceful defense of his performance and plans for another four-year term — as he did during his annual State of the Union speech to Congress in March — but fear that anything less will further sink his viability. The president told Democratic governors at the White House last week that after the debate, he had decided to prevent recurrences of his on-stage issues by avoiding public events after 8 p.m. So much for him being awake for that "3 O'Clock in the morning emergency call from a head of state..... https://www.washingtonpost.com/video/national/hillary-clintons-2008-3-am-phone-call-ad/2016/09/30/a1043ef6-8729-11e6-b57d-dd49277af02f_video.html

Anyone who thinks our Democratic Republic is so fragile that any President could just simply "Be a Dictator" is sadly mis-guided and President Biden knows it. He's just too advanced in his Dementia to remember to keep that FACT to himself. The Biden Campaign can only run on fear-mongering about the former President Trump. https://www.dailywire.com/news/cnns-scott-jennings-biden-admitted-his-campaigns-democracy-pitch-is-a-facade?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR195tj7y-736zn73J3Lq7J0eGz11vqDkmLvM-dqUfKAw5p2uvl4CECJ3tk_aem_Jf_oUa3bnObsKiTWEoiemQ CNN pundit Scott Jennings argued on Sunday that President Joe Biden conceded that his campaign message about saving democracy is nothing but a “facade.” During a discussion on “State of the Union,” in which Jennings appeared with other panelists, the GOP strategist alluded to Biden’s interview on Friday after his poor debate performance against former President Donald Trump fueled concerns among supporters and others about his fitness to run and serve a second term. In a clip that aired earlier in the segment, ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos asked, “If you stay in and Trump is elected and everything you’re warning about comes to pass, how will you feel in January?” Biden, in response, said “as long as I gave it my all” that is “what this is about.” Jennings asked if the panel could “talk about an issue” from the debate on Friday night. “The entire thesis of the campaign was ‘democracy is on the ballot,'” Jennings said. “And when George Stephanopoulos asked him, ‘Well, if you lose and all these bad things come to pass, will you be okay with that?’ And he said, ‘Well, as long as we gave it our all.'” Jennings continued, “Now, if I was a Democrat who hasn’t blinked since January of 2017 or one of these Never Trumpers who’s worried about all this and I heard Joe Biden admit that it’s all just a facade, that it’s all just a talking point, I would be freaked out right now to find out there’s no animating issue for this campaign. It’s just a grift.” A rush transcript shows two other guests on the panel, Democratic strategist Doug Thornell and Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI), pushed back on the critique from Jennings. “An animating issue? It’s about character. It’s about your candidate, who is a convicted felon, who is a twice-impeached president, who is only out for himself, versus an honest and decent man who’s always put the American people first. That is the issue,” Thornell said. Dingell added, “Who says he wants to be a dictator,” alluding to Trump’s pledge to be a “dictator” only on the first day of his second term in order to tackle issues such as border security and drilling for energy. Shermichael Singleton, a conservative political commentator at CNN, got in a word before a commercial break. “The problem for the Democrats is viability. The president currently is not viable,” he said. -

Unless the Democrat Party can find enough to money to pay him off the ticket like they did with ol' Bernie in 2020 and replace him with another Obama puppet he can control, Uncle Joe is staying in there..... The same question above remains.....The rest is static in the background...... -
