  1. Lockdown enforcement is becoming more authoritarian. https://reason.com/2020/04/27/undercover-cops-arrest-2-women-for-operating-home-beauty-businesses-in-violation-of-coronavirus-lockdown-order/
  2. By relying on their own work ethic, intelligence, and personal morality to earn a living, raise a family, weather challenges, etc. Unlike others who choose to primarily rely on the state to provide for them and make decisions. Just easier that way I guess...............
  3. The Fed Has Gone Nuts. And It Can Get Worse. https://mises.org/wire/fed-has-gone-nuts-and-it-can-get-worse
  4. And can be taught by activities other than tackle football.
  5. If getting rid of an unconstitutional entity like the Social Security Administration is short-sighted, then no. And I guess bankrupting the United States of America even more that it is with socialist policy after socialist policy are your "great ideas". Talk about short-sighted..................
  6. Good luck with that. The real solution is to get rid of Social Security altogether.
  7. No, Poison Control Calls Aren't Suddenly Spiking After Trump's Disinfectant Comments https://reason.com/2020/04/25/no-poison-control-calls-arent-suddenly-spiking-after-trumps-disinfectant-comments/?itm_source=parsely-api OMB. TDS.
  8. Social Security Will Be Insolvent Even Sooner Than Expected, Thanks to COVID-19 Pandemic https://reason.com/2020/04/24/social-security-will-be-insolvent-even-sooner-thanks-to-covid-19-pandemic/
  9. That is one thing I notice about these "quick stats" I see online. They list the number infected, the number of deaths, but not the number who have successfully recovered after showing symptoms. Why is that I wonder?
  10. The Frankfort, Indiana Frito-Lay facility, the 2nd largest facility PepsiCo owns in the U.S., shut down yesterday evening for at least the next 24 hours for "deep cleaning". Supposedly several of their employees have tested positive recently. Also I have heard that the Subaru plant in Lafayette has recalled all of it's hourly and salaried maintenance workers, beginning today, for preparation of restarting vehicle production in a couple of weeks. Also Cass county, while being primarily rural, looks to be a growing hot spot for Covid-19 with 315 cases: https://bao.arcgis.com/covid-19/jhu/county/18017.html
  11. I beg to differ. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_sexual_misconduct_allegations#Recording_controversy_and_second_2016_presidential_debate https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/the-sexual-assault-election https://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37641814 https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/the-topic-of-sexual-assault-is-now-at-center-stage-in-the-2016-campaign/2016/10/18/11b40efc-9566-11e6-bc79-af1cd3d2984b_story.html https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/allegations-women-have-made-against-donald-trump-n665731
  12. Hmm. So Mr. Trump's alleged sexual misconduct was a "factor" for many in the 2016 campaign. But apparently it is no longer a "factor" because the other most likely uni-party candidate, Mr. Biden, also has "ancient sexual harassment allegations." Interesting.
  13. Speaking of the River Rats, here is a blast from the past:
  14. Michigan Gov. Rolls Back Some of State's More Insane Coronavirus Restrictions https://reason.com/2020/04/24/michigan-governor-gretchen-whitmer-rolls-back-states-more-insane-coronavirus-covid-19-restrictions/
  15. Thank you for your honesty. And the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium is a fantastic, historical venue. I have only been there once, but it is truly one of Indiana's basketball palaces. You and other Seymour residents should be proud of it. Never been to a Camp Granada. But have been to several other scout camps throughout the midwest. Some were very nice, some not so much.
  16. Another Democratic Socialist, like yourself: https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2011/09/rick-perry-bundles-up-us-open/
  17. Yes, Mr. Biden is too old to be POTUS. As is Mr. Trump, BTW. Neither will get my vote in 2020. Will you vote straight Democrat this November as your always do?
  18. Good breakdowns of meaningful games. A similar discussion and breakdown of the 8/23/2019 game against Kokomo would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  19. It's obvious that only "Trump Groupies" would want to be treated with hydroxychloroquine in the first place. Right?
  20. How much is Coach Ralph, and especially his staff, getting paid for all this off-season work?
  21. The COVID-19 Economic Collapse Is Absolutely Wrecking State Pension Systems https://reason.com/2020/04/24/the-covid-19-economic-collapse-is-decimating-state-pension-systems/ Sorry, I shouldn't have to have the federal taxes I pay go to cover the failures of the public pension programs in other states. They should succeed or fail on their own merits.
  22. You are not a true Hoosier if you dislike basketball. Just a humble opinion. In fact most of this dislike for our historic state sport is probably just some sort of inferiority complex.
