  1. Back to important stuff, like a new boondoggle stadium for the Bears: https://www.fox32chicago.com/news/chicago-bears-willie-wilson-soldier-field Primarily just a campaign pitch for votes, I'm sure. But I'm curious exactly what form this "Dome around Soldier Field" would take?
  2. More on Mr. Allen's DUI: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2026/09/16/colts-wr-keenan-allen-formally-charged-dui-suspected-elevated-blood-alcohol-level/91788060007/
  3. Best hot take about MAC football:
  4. I don't know. Could be marital trouble on the horizon:
  5. I don't know who "Massey" is. And I don't really care about the statistics-lines-gambling trifecta. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." - Mark Twain (who attributed it to Benjamin Disraeli)
  6. LEAKED IMAGE of new Ohio State University Stadium upgrades:
  7. Salty tears from Packers fans:
  8. I did not watch last night's Broncos/Chiefs game. How much airtime was given to "Finding Taylor"?
  9. So IFCA members rely on what flawed statistics tell them when voting?
  10. 4-0 Maconaquah not being in the top 10 of 3A is disappointing.
  11. Maconaquah at Peru Manchester at Northfield Rochester at Cass Southwood at Wabash Whitko at Northwestern
  12. Agree to disagree.
  13. I don't remember Johnson's decision actually taking made points off the scoreboard. And that decision was made early in the 2nd quarter, not the 4th quarter. So arguably LaFleur's decision was worse.
  14. It is always a good day when the Packers lose. Made even better by a bone-headed decision by Matt LaFleur.
  15. Disappointing to see Notre Dame is now a paid shill for a bank.
  16. Just more examples of Ryan Day's hubris.
  17. Southmont takes over the game in the 3rd quarter. 42-6 Mounties at the end of the 3rd. Running clock for the 4th quarter, thank goodness.
  18. Southmont 21, Frankfort 6 Halftime Big plays by Southmont, and as usual Frankfort can't move the ball with any consistency. Only a couple good special teams plays by the Hot Dogs have kept it this close.
  19. Southmont answers on it's 2nd possession with couple big runs for a touchdown. SHS 7, Frankfort 6 1:45 left in the first
  20. Frankfort runs the opening kickoff approx 80 yards for a touchdown. PAT was no good. FHS 6, Southmont 0
  21. https://www.indystar.com/story/opinion/columnists/james-briggs/2026/09/10/ips-referendum-no-vote-wont-help/91664189007/ What most people don't understand is that a labor union, by it's very nature, has it's members as the #1 priority. Not children/students, not patients, not widgets, etc. So never believe the propaganda being spewed by the the ISTA/NEA that it really cares about students, and education. It cares about the money, and how much of that money goes into their member's pockets and the union's coffers. All was well and good when IPS had a virtual monopoly on the education business in Marion county, but not now when they actually have some competition in the education market.
  22. Probably not, going camping this weekend. And I don't think it will be close, the Zebras should win easily. And even better at Prairie's field the visitor bleachers face East, so Rochester fans won't get the brunt of the setting sun. If you are looking for good food before the game I recommend the Oasis, on SR39 south in between Frankfort and Antioch. Best BPT in Clinton county.
  23. Cass at Manchester Maconaquah at Whitko Peru at Northwestern Rochester at Clinton Prairie Southwood at Northfield
  24. What I was reminded of from seeing the uniforms both ND and Wisconsin were wearing:
