  2. Yet that library book was probably paid partially by you via a local tax. So it really wasn't "free" was it?
  3. Yes, I believe an Indiana State Sales tax is incurred for each purchase.
  4. https://www.indianaschoolsongproject.com/ You can thank me later. And if you know any of the missing fight songs please contact the author. It is a worthwhile project.
  5. Welcome to the Gridiron Digest, noob.
  6. It looks like they also have a "regional" team the plays local government and private/parochial schools in Indiana: https://lalumiereathletics.org/sports/boys-regional-basketball/schedule
  7. Yes, La Lumiere school. https://lalumiereathletics.org/sports/mens-basketball
  8. Indiana citizens share frustration over state paying $1 billion for Chicago Bears stadium: https://www.hitc.com/indiana-citizens-share-frustration-over-state-paying-1-billion-for-chicago-bears-stadium/ Cities and counties with high poverty rates shouldn't be subsidizing billionaire sports franchise owners.
  9. Would the A.D.'s of Ben Davis, Carmel, Center Grove, etc. answer the call from the A.D. of a new independent New Palestine Dragon football program, who is looking to fill a competitive schedule?
  10. Then the New Palestine H.S. Booster Club can help foot the bill. It's all for gridiron glory, which is a worthy goal, right?
  11. New Palestine football has completely outgrown the Hoosier Heritage conference, even with the recent additions of Brebeuf Jesuit and Guerin Catholic. It would do well for the Dragons to leave and pursue an independent football schedule.
  12. More Colts QB news: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2026/02/26/anthony-richardson-trade-colts-give-qb-permission-to-find-a-new-team/88881491007/ What teams do you think would take a chance on young Mr. Richardson?
  13. Yes. I never said I was infallible. Are you, Coach Nowlin?
  14. If it comes to the the point where machines are adjudicating more the 50% of the decisions in an athletic contest then it's only a matter before the actual human players are also replaced by machines.
  15. Thank you. Regarding food trucks I hope those selling a good BPT accept cash, but just in case I'll bring enough food from home. It's called being prepared. I use a debit/credit card only as a last resort for POS transactions like at a restaurant or grocery store. I used a credit card to purchase my GenCon ticket, but did not pay the exorbitant extra fee to have the ticket mailed to my home. So on the day I attend I'll get the ticket from the Will Call booth.
  16. It is good to live a principled life. And nice to know you recognize that taxation is theft.
  17. Thank you. I believe in being a well rounded individual. Keeps the mind young.
  18. One can believe in personal choices and freedom are not to be meaningfully constrained by the state, and yet still be critical of an individual's choices. They are not mutually exclusive. I choose not to blindly contribute my hard-earned wealth to a state that kowtows to the wants of a billionaire and/or a billion dollar+ sports franchise. Doesn't matter if it is $1.23 or $123. A principled approach.
  19. Thanks for the Catholicism lesson.
  20. Not into Cosplay, sorry.
  21. 3 Bogus Economic Stats in Trump's State of the Union: https://reason.com/2026/02/24/3-bogus-economic-stats-in-trumps-state-of-the-union/ More B.S. from Mr. Trump. What does one expect?
  22. Thriftiness is a virtue, is it not? Hmm, that is somebody apparently playing some kind of video game. Not what GenCon is primarily about. Nice try. Sorry that the truth hurts.
  23. The world's largest tabletop gaming convention: https://www.gencon.com/ There may be some food truck vendors selling BPT's.
  24. I feel it, but then again I must not be as wealthy as you. Food and hotel taxes are out of control. Good thing I only plan on being in the downtown Indianapolis area for one day this year, for GenCon 2026. Will be staying at a relative's place and will probably bring most of my own food. That makes it somewhat affordable for the average person.
  25. Fiscal impact statement on Bears stadium bill outlines millions in tax increases: https://indianacapitalchronicle.com/2026/02/23/fiscal-impact-statement-on-stadium-bill-outlines-millions-in-tax-increases/ Indiana: Land Of Taxes. "The Region" even more so. Yet another reason to stay away........
