In HHP's defense the place did appear to have boarding houses. I thought that's what the buildings were until I read your post and looked it up.

I think the CAL team was out of reach for us this year. Hunter doesn't get hurt on the second drive and our line stays healthy, maybe we make it closer by a score or two, but I don't see how we could have beat them without something crazy happening. Would really love to see 2023 Chatard vs 2024 CAL. I'd give the edge to 2023 Chatard but not by much. Who knows...

I think they would be a nice addition to the Small Division. After Southridge makes the transition North Posey is going to need some competition or they'll run away with it every year. Most of the small schools in there are hit and miss year to year, so adding another chance for competition seems logical.

Couldn't be happier with the results of this season though. Luers was a good team. I'd put money on Memorial beating them, and would be very interested in seeing them vs Gibson Southern. Hey, perhaps you didnt't get the memo: 😄 Just kidding! All in good fun for sure, but I just can't leave this alone. Your Question: "Luers beat 5A Northrop and 5A North Side. They beat 4A Wayne (with two D1 recruits on that team.) Now -- how does that competition (wins or losses) compare to the matchups that HH won??" Not as lopsided as you think probably. Look up 3A #1-Evansville Memorial and 3A #3 Gibson Southern. Both teams undefeated in Indiana with the exception of their Heritage Hills games. Memorial was undefeated in the SIAC which has plenty of 4A and 5A teams. The whole stiffer competition for Luers argument really doesn't hold much water when you look into it. I'm with you in the hopes that it's a great game. After Saturday we'll have all the answers we need, but talking smack about it before hand is half the fun!! I'm so ready for Saturday Afternoon!! It is definitely going to be interesting!!! Take it away Mills!

Who has Luers beat though? In the regular season who has Luers beat? Cause if we go post season wins, HH convincingly took out Memorial, a great team who beat a couple of 4 and 5 A sectional champions in the Tigers undefeated regular season. The fact that Luers got beat by good teams tells me nothing. Heritage Hills also played the #1 3A team in Kentucky, but you won't hear us talking much about that game because we lost. Get the point? I have no doubt that Luers is a great team. I know that because they made it to the State Championship this year and won it in 2A last year. Not because of who they got beat by. That being said, HH 28 - Luers 14.

OK, fair enough. As long as we get rid of the "utter" I can go along with that. 🙂

What What is it with you EAIC guys and your rhyming? Is that just how you guys talk in that neck of the woods? I imagine going to your regular season conference games over there is like watching "Friday Night Lights, The Musical" 😄 Not hating, I like it I guess, just a bit peculiar that's all. Keep at it though. Its always entertaining when we hit the EAIC rhyming clown posse troupe in the post season.
