  1. ... and Memorial left footprints all over the backs of the Central jerseys. 38-14 right? I think its going to be the same way in this one, but GS will probably be the ones to run away with it. Don't have a dog in this fight, but I do have a couple of pennies in my pocket so here's my 2 cents, GS by 2 scores.
  2. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot to talk about so who wants to make some predictions?? I'll start... HH 42 Reitz 14 ---------------------------------------- Jasper 28 Harrison 6 I know this ones not in our sectional, but I can't leave out the 3A State Championship game: GS 35 Memorial 31
  3. Was surprised when I found the Jasper game on the radio on the way home from Washington in the fourth quarter Boonville had the ball, was driving deep into Jasper territory, and about to tie it up. Boonville fumbled not long after that, Jasper scored, and it was over, but what was going on in that game? Was this just a fluke thing where everything that could go wrong for the Wildcats did? Anyone have any insight?
  4. I concur. Gibson definitely walked away with the right to anoint themselves "Kings of the Trenches" on both sides of the ball that terrible tragic September night.
  5. IMO for HH it'll be a "Next Man Up" kind of year in a lot of positions. Losing a Mr. Football candidate and at least 4 D1 recruits is never easy, but there's talent in a lot of the underclassmen who have been getting a lot of playing time this season. Either way, no need to think about next year when there's so much football left to be played on the road to LOS
  6. I appreciate your concern. Afterall, you guys in South Princeton know what that's like all too well. 😉 Would love to see how that game would play out a second time. Honestly though, I'm not sure I'd want it standing in the way of a post season run. Jasper is enough to worry about without the other Hart coming to the party.
  7. Even have NFL analysts getting in on the action in Indy!
  8. Yeah, with a loss to Washington and Mount Vernon if BooneTown is within 3 scores at the end of this one then there must be something in the Gibson County Kool-Aid. Just Sayin
  9. In that case go with the Grinder and a scooner of cold BL. I went with that before the game last Friday. Was my only good memory I had that night.
  10. Well, if they do Memorial will be walking the trail of tears back to the locker room to turn their pads in the next day. The Titans aren't just going to the games for the popcorn this year. They're ready to make a run. Just sayin. #OnceBitTwiceShy
  11. Seems like fumbles has been a recurring theme for Raider nation lately.
  12. Not so fast sweetheart. Lets not get too excited. It was a hell of a game. A HELL of a game! And a disappointing ending for the boys in blue, but nobody went and turned their pads in afterwards. Still plenty of football to be played and as far as the post season goes, this loss might just be the best thing that could have happened for Heritage Hills.
  13. What kind of knuckleheadism do you speak of? Was planning on gorging myself with pizza and beer at Sandy's, but may cut it short for some good knuckleheadism. Gotta be good though, not leaving my pint glass for flag twirling cartwheels.
  14. I like my women like I like my taters.... German, salty, and a little fried 😄
  15. I think your close on that score is on the money. As far as quarters being hogwash though.....
  16. That's why it's the PAC's job to keep them Tigers in their cage! But that's a conversation for another week! 😄
  17. Sounds like a reference to them pesky Memorial Tigers would be my guess, cause only one team gets out of Sectional 32 alive, and that team usually makes it to LOS!
  18. I disagree. I'd prefer a nonconference game on the schedule every year that places us as the obvious underdog. That seems to be how Gibson's schedule is usually laid out, and I think its a good call.
  19. Yeah, I'm disappointed that HH didn't produce a schedule this year with a nonconference team who would provide a nice strong punch in the mouth. It's good to know with Gibson Southern in the PAC, there's always going to be at least one smelling salts game per year. Looking forward to a DAWG FIGHT Friday night!
  20. Speaking of "coaching legends" how soon can we expect a Jasper vs Gibson Southern game on the schedule. I'm sure many would be very interested in seeing The Hart Foundation Brotherly Love Bowl? Jasper/ MD definitely game of the week. I'm going with Jasper -3. MD will still be licking their wounds from that last minute collapse at Enlow. OUCH! I know their SIAC but lets face it... not much to talk about in the PAC this week IMO.
  21. Agreed! The fact that they haven't played one minute of any 2nd half all season without a running clock will not bode well for us in October.
