That's what I heard too. Heard the Clown's posse was borderline insane! The stinky clown was drunk off of all those cold BL's he'd been slopping down in the Lawrenceburg parking lot before the game. The scene was just despicable!

Gibson Southern is a great team. GREAT! But I've got to think their odds of winning a state championship dropped at least a little bit from last week due to Foster's injury. Not saying they won't pull it off, but the road definitely got a little rockier.

No matter what class it is... 3A, 4A, or whatever, once we get to semi-state the topic of conversation almost always turns to roster size, how many are playing both ways?, etc. If roster size was much of a deciding factor HH wouldn't have made it out of the 4A sectional. Definitely not out of Regional. I have a feeling this game is going to come down to a four factors, as they always do: Health, Turnovers, Who wins the line of scrimmage, and Who has the most SEC commits. 😄 Seriously though, I don't think the size of roster or who plays both ways is going to decide this one. It's gonna be battle of two teams who are hitting their strides at the right time, and at the end of it the firetrucks will be waiting at Denny's to give an escort through Dale, Mariah Hill, Santy Claus and back to the Jungle. HH-3

Nothings ever guaranteed though is it? Chatard pretty much took Roncalli to the woodshed during the regular season, and what time do the Trojans play on Friday night? Just sayin...

Though HH lost a couple key players last year, for all intents and purposes you could say they're a year older this year. Roncalli is and should be looked at as the favorite, but the statement that there's "not much standing in the way of Roncalli vs Dwenger for a state title" is laughable.

In 2009 Heritage Hills beat Indian Creek 7-0 to win sectionals. In 2010 they got their revenge winning 35-17.

I would agree with you at this point. To me Chatard vs Roncalli is definitely a #1 vs #2. Up to now HH doesn't have the quality of wins to put them in the top 2, nor have they been playing the caliber of football for the ranking. Of course, nothing we say or think matters. At this point wins are wins, losses are permanent, and all that really matters is who wins after Thanksgiving! But I think Roncalli is going to be playing in regionals next week.

Am I missing it somewhere in another thread or is NOBODY talking about the Chatard vs. Roncalli matchup? I've heard Roncalli has improved a great deal and isn't the same team that took it on the chin from Chatard earlier in the year, but I don't know. That's just what I heard.

Right. Just like any other high school team blessed enough to still be on the field in November, having a great Plan A, Plan B, C, and D is crucial to winning championships.

If everyone is healthy (big IF) I think at the end it'll be a HH in a 2 score game. I'm glad HH finally got W in a close 4 qtr contest last week. All that being said, as was very evident last week, these Patriots are not immune to mental lapses. Looking for it to be close going into the 4th qtr. Hoping them Patriots learned some big lessons last week, come into Brewer "HOMERDOME" Field sharp, and run away with it early. Can't wait for Friday night!

You can go to IHSAATV.org and go to the end of the game and watch it for yourself if you have the time and inclination. What does it look like to you? To me it looked like he was attempting to throw to the receiver. Great game no matter what, and well earned victory by GS. I only brought it up for the sake of curiosity, clarity, and conversation.

Seemed to me like the intentional grounding was the wrong call at that point in time. QB had a receiver open, was in the act of passing it to him while getting tackled, ball didn't wind up close to receiver, and the flag flew. Moved them from the 4 yard line to the 14. HYYYYUUUGE!!! My question: is it intentional grounding if the intent was obviously the open receiver? Honest question.
