If you're coming south on 31, turn west(right) at 296th Street(600S) that is the Tipton/Hamilton County Line, at East Union. Then left on Jerkwater Road(W 36th) and that will take you south right to Sheridan. Turn left on 1st St, then left at the next street to the school. You should be able to follow the lights of the field if you get lost in Sheridan.

    Thanks Gonzo… Jerkwater Road… interesting name !

Last week, they were in some sort of trance the entire 1st half.  On the scoreboard, the game looked close, but when you look at the stats, it tells a VERY different story.  That's okay though.  I have no problem with people believing that Sheridan is no good, especially going into this game.

MC big plays probably skewed the stats… that first TD by #20 …. WOW !

    on my way

I’m back… fortunately we can watch replays of all the games khayward mentioned and more…. Looks to me like he either don’t know what he’s talking about or trying to lite a fire to get Sheridan motivated !

I did notice how much smaller Sheridan is from teams in the past but they do very well with what they have ! Also noticed in last week’s game that Monroe Centrals field has to be the bumpyest field I’ve ever seen !

Good luck Blackhawks… don’t wanna sse ND head coach win this game(or any game IMO ! ) !

  4. I remember listening to him, in his Tri-Central era, Saturday mornings on a Kokomo radio station coaches show for area coaches. What a truly inspirational man ! From the moment he spoke, I wanted to put the pads on and play for him at my advanced age. Totally changed my thinking of him from what you read on this forum, thats for sure ! He will be missed !!!

This is a nice article on Coach George from last year...  George Gilbert

The final is set.  I thought the broadcast last night said it would be at Chatard, but John Harrell is showing us back up in Hamilton County.  Any thoughts about the actual game besides the obligatory call for a running clock?  I assume the sprinklers will be on all week and the grass hasn't been cut for a month.

They haven't cut the grass all year !!!

Silly Trojan... they water the turf !

    Nope !

This type of play is a favorite on officiating quizzes, although the play situation usually has the receiver going airborne in the end zone, catching the ball, and then he is driven back into the field of play and goes to the ground at the 2 yd. line. That’s a TD because the furthest point of the ball at the time of the contact was in the end zone. Same thing here.

    What game was this?

What about receiver clearly catches ball in air inside the out of bounds but is driven out of bounds before feet come down in bounds ?
