Why would they not? Roncalli HATES Cathedral. Roncalli hated Cathedral so much that at one point several years back, they tried to dictate where Cathedral got their kids ie "X amount of football roster must be catholic" while also telling Cathedral to stay out of the south deanery. When Cathedral laughed in their face, they took their ball and went home and stopped playing them. Cowards.

Just had flashback of "Hurricane Scifres" !

After seeing the semi state from Lutheran and North Decatur last year, Lutheran is good but nothing special. They were able to make some big plays that could not have been, but North was the same. I'll say that Lutheran was not ready for North the first half. North is like Lutheran as they can draw from other nearby schools. Now with that, you maybe getting 3A students for North and possibly 3-6A students for Lutheran? This is where the disadvantage is more than likely coming from. Proud parents that dont want their kids to play for a crappy higher class and want the stigma to say "my child was on a state team" i fell is whats happening. Then again i may be wrong all together. You can only ride high for so long, until you hit the bottom.

    That'd be my guess !

Gandolph “Gandy” Fish (Isaac Hayes) who served time with Rockford always referred to him as “Rockfish”.  Everyone else in the show called him “Jim”…..excepting Angel Martin (the brilliant and, sadly, recently deceased Stuart Margolin) who always called him “Jimmy”.

The Rockford Files is my favorite TV show of all time.

I can see that, it was a good show.... but for me, Gilligan's Island set the bar purty high !!!

    How bout this gem

Team A Kicks ball off in what is known as the classic KICKOFF, ball heads to the sidelines, heading to the pylon, TEAM B player runs towards the ball watching, TEAM B player ends up out of bounds, the ball is bouncing and the player reaches back in the field of play and grabs the ball while being completely out of bounds, at the 3 yards line.

Where is the ball spotted ?

(P.S. I knew this, but been a bit since I've seen it, and yes the crew got it right).

    @Yuccaguyand @Bobref are barred

isn't that just kicking out of bounds ?

The HHC currently sits at 8 teams, add Frankfort or Tipton and BC, and split into an East/West Division.

East - Eastern, Sheridan, Tri-Central, Taylor, Tipton

West - BC, Clinton Prairie, Carroll, Delphi, Clinton Central

If Frankfort is in instead of Tipton, add them to the West and move Clinton Central to East.

    Getter done!

I doubt Tipton would join any conference that included Tri-Central !   Just sayin' !!!

You don't find it ironic that the head coach's son is the quarterback and they throw it 95% of the time.

I get what you're saying Rodney, football isn't a game for mercy. But 99% of coaches are running the football to end the game, not padding stats. I don't even think the infamous Rodney runs the score up to 84 in this one.

    1st off... its Rodney !

    Secondly... its Rodney !!!

While I will agree, Andrean isn't as great as they have been in years past the thing I have noticed while paying attention to this team is constant improvement every week. At the beginning of this year, I would have said this is going to be a beat down by Chatard. While I think Chatard is still the favorite, I expect this Andrean team to battle. I think they are starting to figure out they aren't the same run heavy team they were a year ago. The QB can sling it and is also a very underrated runner when things break down. They still have fantastic athletes at the receiver position, and defense is solid as always. The regular season isn't going to produce a flashy record by any means, but the 59ers are going to be very dangerous come playoff time with the schedule they have played. With what sounds like a pretty banged up Chatard team, I look for Andrean to make this a competitive game throughout the night.

even banged up they're still purty good !
