Can we all stop talking about where all of these Catholic school kids are going?

    I was enjoying that talk...

I was on the monthly recruiting call with the Pope and he said that the IHSAA was asking for more money to “fix” the rules in our favor. The Pontiff said that we need to keep it down in order to still be allowed to run “Operation Screw the Publics”. He wanted to thank all of you for your hard work and asked that you keep it up. Soon he believes the IHSAA will accept our proposal to be able to play with 12 players on each side of the ball and have our touchdowns count as 10 points. Thanks again for all that you do

Finally someone not afraid to tell the truth !

Rochester is a completely different team from Week 2. Not saying they should be the North favorite in 2A by any means. I think it might be the most up for grabs out of all the  classes. Also Tippy Valley has thumped everyone they have played so far this year. I doubt any team in 2A North could beat Valley.

i understand but not sold on Valley just yet... their schedule is suspect until week 7 and 9 imo !

It was a really bad night for special teams.

Rudolph has been rock solid all year. That missed FG was his first miss of the year. It was wide left by a few feet with good leg distance. He nailed the other one.

Punting was a big issue last night. I will have to ask why the Giants rush their punt unit onto the field like that. I am curious.

As far as the punt return, that was a case of not wrapping up a tackle. They had two shots at the guy, and he got away. That opening kick was probably the worst coverage I've seen out of a Ben Davis team in years. You could have driven a semi through that gap sideways. Something happened there. Knowing Coach Spinks, that unit is not in for a good week, LOL. He'll fix it.

    Its those darn intangibles !!!

One more WL Story!  I knew Gene Swank, and he was the QB for the 1932 WL football team.  I talked to him a few years before he died.  On Sept. 23, 1932 WL played Lafayette Jeff at Purdue's Stuart Field.  Shortly after the second half started, Swank received a bump on the head that left him semi-conscious for a time.  He did not return to the game and Jeff won 20-0.  I asked Swank about that game, and he just kept telling me, "that was a bad mistake."  I never did find out exactly what happened.  Maybe he went right when he should have turned left.

    have to agree

Center Grove destroys Trinity. Trinity destroys Carmel. Carmel barely escapes a Homestead team that got obliterated by Noblesville. Greyhounds are overrated at 15, might not even be Top 25.

Exactly... simply switch Carmel and Noblesville on this poll and we're good !
