That was tongue and check for my EM friends LOL.

So what you are saying is there is a difference between Evansville Reitz and Evansville Reitz Memorial?
-
Looks like Kentucky includes all the stats stuff...wonder if they just pull that straight in from MaxPreps or have their own input system.

My Suggestion to IHSAA

I umpire for Cal Ripken 9-10s and 11-12s....does that make me an official? I am an "typical" youth football coach....I know very little about the game and I am a homer to the endth degree. 😊 -

LOL...sounds almost the same as the PAC golf tournament being at Christmas Lake (crazy but true). In addition, Coach Hart is going to observe moratorium. I think 7 on 7 in the wave pool would be awesome! -
My Suggestion to IHSAA

"The recommendations presented in this document are intended as ideas for state associations to consider with their respective SMACs and other stakeholders in designing return-to-activity guidelines that will be in accordance with state or local restrictions. Please note that the phases of “opening up” outlined below are based upon the White House document released in April 2020. Consult your state and local health departments to review if they are using a similar approach, or how the phases in this document correspond to your state or local governments nomenclature." So based on this quote above the NFHS document somewhat follows the National and Indiana guidelines for the first three phases. To me, it clearly is not a document intended for guidance all the way to August. -

PAC 2020 a new beginning

As you know it's hard to find a team over the past 8 years that has been able to maintain as high a level of consistency year over year as this program has (and yes that can mean we consistently lose to a team that ends up in Lucas LOL). Lot's of kids play and lots of kids waiting for their opportunity and lots of kids got playing time last season. This schedule obviously isn't designed to be the first sentence in a post season news paper article. It will be brutal out of the gate. I honestly don't know enough about what each opponent will bring to the table to make "predictions" I am willing to stand behind. My guess is something between 4-0 and 1-3 LOL....and all of those scenarios are just fine as long as we compete and improve. I think our Junior and Senior classes blend nicely, and will be battle tested for the last half of the season and into the playoffs. It also looks like the lower levels schedules will follow suit. Here are the holes that will be filled: Offense LT- LG- C- RG- #79 Braden Tucker RT- #64 Alex Breivogel R- #22 Logan Murfin L- Slot- Slot- RB- QB- #18 Brady Allen Defense NT- DT- #52 Tannor Moskos DT- #43 Logan Fauquher Sam- Bandit- Mike- Will- #10 Carter Green CB- CB- S- S- #15 Noah Bryant -

My Suggestion to IHSAA

I am not talking about travel. I think many HS programs are going to offer "voluntary" workouts throughout July in an effort to make up for some of the lost reps during the season. Although there is a lot of talk about "travel" baseball on these GID threads, most HS baseball coaches don't count on reps from "travel" baseball. I suspect here will be some similar basketball activity. -

Will most of you guys see Football three days a week and Baseball three days a week in July? I love both sports but that seems like a busy month for kids who play them both, not to mention significant contact with a lot of people. -

Just a thought, and if I have missed it in the thread I apologize. If Indiana pushes back the start date of school for some period of time...there would definitely be an impact for those of us who play games out of state if those states don't follow the exact same delay strategy (or vise versa). -
JULY 1st HERE WE COME

My guess is many coaches will still observe moratorium anyway (as people may have some sort of family plan that week). -

Also heard her say on an interview that school looking completely normal in August is "pie in the sky"....whatever that means. -

I believe there is an immunity form what I have read...what is in doubt is how long. The TIME article I read was a couple weeks old but the experts they interviewed thought 1 to 3 years....with younger folks having a more robust immune response therefore a longer period of immunity.
