That’s a stretch in modern day politics. The media plays a humongous role in yesterday’s events and has an opportunity (hell, I’d even say an OBLIGATION) do send out a very important message and do the right thing, but will they? My bad on Hogan, good call. :42.37 was a great 4x100 time in the 1990s but wouldn’t even score in the state finals 75% of the time in modern day Hoosier track and field. BD has broken :42 seconds in the 4x100 over a dozen times since 1991 with football guys more often than not. The speed of modern day football players, specifically the depth of fast guys has changed the game.

NC is easily the premier athletic program of what’s left of the MIC despite all of the ways they are shortchanged in football on here. They are state level quality in multiple sports. Currently: BD is elite in football and boys basketball. Warren is elite in football, girls track and wrestling. LC is elite in girls basketball. LN is elite in boys and girls basketball and wrestling. Pike is pretty mediocre across the board. I’m sure I am missing a few but not many. Football is one of the few sports in which NC is NOT ranked.

Controversial opinion but I’ll take the 2017 BD team… I can’t take a look at football highlights from any level before the mid 1990’s and say with a straight face those teams could keep up with the strength and speed of today’s athletes. I’m sure that’ll hurt feelings.

Can’t speak to that specifically though the numbers say 2016 was the best state wide season of the bunch. The eye test tells me 2006 Warren. I believe they had double figure guys go D1 though don’t quote me on that.
