  1. Well, Pikeville just lost to a D3 school that isnt even ranked. Marion is the king of NAIA but not a ton of great NAIA schools in Indiana side from St. Francis. AGREED!
  2. That was my main point. I totally agree with you...speed is everything!
  3. Good points. If he is in fact a true 4.49 runner you are correct, he should be getting D1 offers. The offense that Knox runs is not going to help his chances and, I dont think he looks like he is an absolute lightening bolt of a runner (just my opinion). My son is a college running back so I know what I am looking at. I just hope he goes somewhere where he can see the field!
  4. I have seen first hand with my son how hard it is to get recruited by a FBS D1 school, especially now with the transfer portal. This kid is a great RB and athlete but he would be best served going to a D3, NAIA school maybe a Dayton or Butler to be on the field and play early and be a difference maker. I am sure y'all know but D3 schools have studs (from highschool) that never see the field....It is really competitive. Just my opinion....I could be wrong.
  5. I agree with everything you said. Ralph is a great coach and always has his boys ready to play. I expect a close competitive game.
  6. Well, we shall see. PH and Yorktown have also played schools like Anderson which Cathedrals freshman team could beat.
  7. I agree, Plainfield was pretty good. New Pal has played nobody so I am not sure how to measure them. I know this makes no difference and has no bearing on the game but New Pal's Freshman team was supposed to be the best Freshman team in the state and the best team Ralph said he has ever had at NP and the Cathedral Freshman dismantled them. My point, I dont know what to expect. If Cathedral can sustain some long drives and keep their D off the field all night I really like Cathedral's chances. Let'ds dont forget the guantlet of a schedule Cathedral has, they are used to playing very good teams. New Pal has not faced a team this year like Cathedral. Should be a good competitive game.
  8. JV Score - CG - 21 Irish - 14.
  9. This is true and confirmed. Besides Dangerfield and Papas, their are two sophomores one in injured and there are 2 solid Freshman running backs and one of them is injured. I might also add that the Cathedral Irish Freshman had a great win over a solid and undefeated CG team, 16-8
  10. I am really not an "I told you so" type of guy, but look at my posts. I predicted a 42-14 game. This was a blowout like I expected. BD is solid all the way around. Congrats to all Giant fans.
  11. Its wrong in Maxpreps, says CP lost but maxpreps isnt always accurate. Thanks.
  12. Question to the group, did Crown Point lose to Merrillville earlier in the season 39-6? The string indicates that they are 13-0. If this is in fact true, I hope they have improved since then!
  13. Yes, Westfield is a solid team, no doubt in the world. Your point is duly noted. I just think Ben Davis is too solid all the way around and will win by three to four scores. Again, I could be wrong, just my opinion
  14. Disagree...and I will gladly eat crow on Sunday if I am wrong but I am not.
