And if you talk to the average Chicagoland HS football fan they'll act like they're watching Texas HS football up there. The population of Chicagoland alone is going to create some really good teams in conferences like the Chicago Catholic League, East Suburban Catholic (think they recently merged with the CCL), DuPage Valley, West Suburban, and the conference that Lincoln Way East, Bolingbrook, Homewood-Flossmoor are in. But, the elite teams in that area are no better than the elite teams in Indiana and Ohio. Unfortunately, they don't leave the Chicago area much for marquee OOC play. In 2019 Loyola played Cleveland St. Ignatius in Michigan City and lost 27-10. Loyola wen 8-4 that year and lost in the 3rd round of the playoffs. Iggy was 5-5.

I feel that CG, WC, BD, and Carmel can compete with essentially anyone's "best 4" year in and year out. Maybe that's bias.

The burden of proof is on those who accuse, not on those who deny.

    This cannot be real life.

Well you're the one who said they are another Madison. That's how this got started. He listed proof in tons of areas (other sports) that dispute that claim and all you have said is "they didn't win sectional." I have no dog in this fight and don't get on here to just argue but Silver Creek is better then Madison. Will they leave MSC or could they even be a top force in HCC in say 10 years? Who knows. But they wouldn't just be bottom feeders year in and year out. Thats my opinion

100%. I am done now. Kind of crazy argument he's tried to form.

Where's your evidence that Silver Creek would be "the 3rd best team" in the HHC when they haven't played an HHC team in football, at all, since 2016?

Is this what your argument has came down to? Didn't you mention you don't even live in IN? C'mon man. Have you even watched SC play? ever?

They're a good football team and a well coached football team. Again.. I don't want them to leave the MSC, but they're more than equipped to compete and win the HHC in multiple sports. (not saying football, other sports, absolutely)

Just crazy you constantly make these outlandish statements on here and have ZERO evidence to back it up, especially this one.

    I've already given my explanation-

Where a conference has the most impact is football. A football team in an 8-team conference in the State of Indiana will have almost 80% of its season filled with conference games; basketball is less than 35%, and the non-revenue sports have similar percentages to basketball.

I was hoping you'd have a better one. They would have been 6-2 in HHC conference play last year.

    How so?

3A state champs in basketball boys

Top 5 3A girls basketball team

Football team went 9-1/top 10... play in the best 4A sectional in the state

Baseball team back to back regional champions in 2018-19

Volleyball team just won a regional and have been an ultra successful program for a number of years

    Softball just won a regional

Girls soccer just won a regional

Track and Cross Country are good as well.. I am just unfamiliar with their accomplishments.

They would have been 6-2 against the HHC teams this year in football... and would have been around .500 the last 2-3 years.

    What's confusing?
