  1. why did it bother Sheridan more than Taylor? We knew all week what the weather would be like that night lol
  2. Crazy confused... are you from Merriville or Gibson? lol Gibson Southern... excellent homefield advantage and gasp.... even on TURF!!!
  3. Very weird thing to say They just suck. Eat a ribeye, a regular burger, anything really.
  4. Bit of an oxymoron "a good pork burger"
  5. Because it doesn't You said 2003 lolol I already answered your question once.
  6. It's complete bogus. I hope that isn't your example. Warren would beat Penn during that time frame if they played on hot lava, if they played in Antarctica, or yes, if they played in 3 inches of mud.
  7. Also... pretty much, your scenario couldn't happen in the top 3 classes. They essentially all have turf, especially ones that would advance deep in playoffs. In the bottom 3 classes... .Heritage Hills comes to mind as a top team with grass; there aren't many others, though. I've just been involved in A LOT of muddy games (coached and played)... the team that played better won.
  8. won't let me edit my post... The only option of "you guys playing on grass" was you guys playing at home.... obviously, there's no neutral field. So you prefer to play at home, heck yeah, I understand that.... I would have preferred the regional at home, as well. It's certainly not a fact that a grass team has a 14pt advantage playing at home vs a turf team lol
  9. I would have just preferred to play better. so myths
  10. it's not massive? no Some what? maybe... What if Team A kicks the shit out of Team B anyways?
  11. you mean play at home? well duh.... but idc either way, I'm not sure where you would have heard that. I was at Southridge Nov 14, 2008, though. As far as I know.... BOTH teams play on the surface.
  12. I don't think the surface matters a lick. I'm certain it's not a fact, either.
  13. I can't believe I'm doing this.... did you not look at the data? There is no trend in that data to suggest anything has been eliminated. 2000's data-- .93, 2024--- .97 Spikes in 2010-- 2.06, but then by 2014 it's .83... back to 2.05 in 2023. The data tells us there is zero trend here.... facts matter
  14. It did lolol you haven't played then
  15. Right. Unfortunately, some aren't here to discuss it. Seems like every sport Right. And it was a direct response to what you posted. How you were ever confused is confusing.
  16. It's not vague at all. I didn't tie you into anything, you brought it up. what can't? this seems vague Very vague of you
  17. Our society is becoming soft? Disclaimer--- officiated A LOT in my life.... never understood why you'd be thin skinned as an official. Next-- nothing should EVER leave the sports arena/field. No parent/coach has a right to do something like that... But if words bother people as an official, they should grow up.
  18. 5 v 3. Just seems like simple math to me.... If we talking about having the athletes that sports is most applicable to flag football, we'd definitely want it in the spring so we can convince the soccer team and volleyball players to play.
  19. Don't most cross country ppl run track?
  20. better than football competing with golf, volleyball, soccer, and cross country. We play MS on Thurs vs the Friday night opponent Play some JV early in the season on Saturdays. but I want my Saturdays mostly free, so we still play the majority of those games on Mondays.
