  1. I wouldn't change. I like the way the rule is now.
  2. your kids must have been so confused by the amount of George Strait that was played lolol And Elm St is a BLAST for a HS tailgate!!
  3. Great hire. Kyle is a great person. LOTSSSS of former Leonard guys are coaches now/past coaches.
  4. neutral sites!! lets do it! hard to grow grass in sand lol That and you played a lot of SOs vs our SRs
  5. prepare for both, well... the best you can Wet ball during Team O in practice leading up to that game, I've only experienced snow once (very light) in my 6 years of being a fan, 4 years playing, and 12 years coaching..... Continuous, short, choppy steps in practice to mimic a slick field.
  6. No. I didn't. I directly answered, go read it. Idk what that means ... you don't check the weather? Why's that community wealthy? Hmmmm
  7. haha... alright alright. Speaking of.... what a tremendous facility to drive by!!
  8. a little over 50% have turf I'll alllllll about a domed field though. It would make practice soooo much better lol .... Not that Coach May ever gets mad, but WHEN he DOES... it would be nice to be shaded. Great idea man.
  9. It wasn't the weather as the original discussion. It was grass and turf.... allegedly, a grass team has some massive advantage if the game isn't played on turf....allegedly, turf teams don't have as big of a homefield advantage as a grass team. Did Sheridan not play well?
  10. Jon must not spend much time in our state
  11. DeVries had WVU ranked last season in his first season in P4 with a fraction of the resources IU has lol The difference DDV is... he built Drake. Drake was AWFUL before he got there. 11 I liked Malik... though he never should have been a starter.... MM is the most selfish player I've witnessed wear an IU uniform.
  12. why did it bother Sheridan more than Taylor? We knew all week what the weather would be like that night lol
  13. Crazy confused... are you from Merriville or Gibson? lol Gibson Southern... excellent homefield advantage and gasp.... even on TURF!!!
  14. Very weird thing to say They just suck. Eat a ribeye, a regular burger, anything really.
  15. Bit of an oxymoron "a good pork burger"
  16. Because it doesn't You said 2003 lolol I already answered your question once.
  17. It's complete bogus. I hope that isn't your example. Warren would beat Penn during that time frame if they played on hot lava, if they played in Antarctica, or yes, if they played in 3 inches of mud.
  18. Also... pretty much, your scenario couldn't happen in the top 3 classes. They essentially all have turf, especially ones that would advance deep in playoffs. In the bottom 3 classes... .Heritage Hills comes to mind as a top team with grass; there aren't many others, though. I've just been involved in A LOT of muddy games (coached and played)... the team that played better won.
  19. won't let me edit my post... The only option of "you guys playing on grass" was you guys playing at home.... obviously, there's no neutral field. So you prefer to play at home, heck yeah, I understand that.... I would have preferred the regional at home, as well. It's certainly not a fact that a grass team has a 14pt advantage playing at home vs a turf team lol
  20. I would have just preferred to play better. so myths
  21. it's not massive? no Some what? maybe... What if Team A kicks the shit out of Team B anyways?
