  1. I'm rooting for BNL, and I think they'll win, but Monrovia has played a significantly better schedule than a "pretty decent lower class schedule" Top 3 2A Linton Top 10 2A Triton Central Top 10 3A Tri West Top 10 3A Indian Creek Top 3 3A Cascade 5-2 4A Beech Grove Top 20 4A BNL Of the bottom 3 classes, only Hamilton Heights has a sagarin rated tougher schedule. In 4A there are only 10 or so schedules rated tougher.
  2. I think the tri state Catholic league is flat out awesome.
  3. Never heard of any of these schools
  4. What about.... Carmel, Center Grove, Trinity (Louisville), St Xavier (Louisville), Indy Cathedral--maybe Warren Central, Ben Davis..... others? all played each other every year. That would be 4-6 really solid games those teams wouldn't have to find year in and year out. Is there another worthy Louisville school? I assume the Cinci schools have enough competition over there, but I had thought about incorporating them, as well. Anyways... just an idea.
  5. BC C Team 41 Madison JV 0
  6. I was hoping we'd see some retaliation. That was a BS hit.
  7. Providence canceled. Brownstown is looking for a JV game this coming Monday. We have officials and anticipated a home game, its possible we could make an away game work, though. Please contact Reed May- Head Coach rmay@btownccs.k12.in.us Maria Conklin mconklin@btownccs.k12.in.us

  10. You lost by 20 to a team North beat by 42. No more from me.
  11. I can't believe you actually typed that.
  12. Oh yeah it'd be great in nearly every other sport/they all basically play in every other sport now.
  13. North and South wouldnt have half the difficulties CG and Carmel do. I'm still not sure what the HHC solves for either of them? Right now, South has 5 games (6 until TH consolidates) that would be easy to play every year East, Martinsville, Bloom North, THS/THN and Columbus North... Plus already have Brebuef scheduled.. Scheduling Castle, Reitz, Plainfield, Danville, East Central, BNL, Roncalli, Chatard... is all that difficult?
  14. Columbus North beat Whiteland 49-7 this season...
  15. I'm not trying to sound "too disrespectful" on a public forum. I just vehemently disagree that these two schools going to the HHC is a good idea for basically anyone.
  16. CN and BS are better off independent. They're close enough to Indy to make that work. BS can schedule Castle/Reitz now that Vincennes is getting out of the SIAC.. they can also schedule the Terre Haute consolidation.. along with Martinsville, Mooresville, Bloom North, and they should try to get an arrangement with East Central. But again, they can play multiple Indy schools. BNL would be a good option. North, obviously the Indy schools are easy, they can look at cinci/some Louisville schools, too. Franklin/Whiteland are both solid options, too. Absolute malpractice some of these ideas.
  17. Luers is not up for success factor. Their enrollment is 3A.
  18. JV BC 54 Seymour 22
  19. Gotcha. Probably also knew Ponds wasn't going to play.
  20. If it was then you were correct, I had not seen it there since last Wednesday/Thursday.
  21. yeah I don't like the idea at all... now I would get rid of the blind draw for the winners of sectionals for match ups in regionals... it was flat out stupid Jennings Couny played Princeton, Brownstown played Evansville Memorial in the 3A deep south regionals. That is absurdly stupid. JC vs BC should have been at Seymour (that's 8K+) Ev Mem vs Princeton at Washington.. another hefty crowd. Instead... you sent BC to Washington against EM, and JC to Southridge against Princeton. That is laughably stupid.
  22. line was -8.5
  23. There is no one in main street Clarksville districted somewhere else. Idk if my "edit" part came through... growing up, I had a Seymour address, but I was in Brownstown school corporation. But our bills, all that went to Brownstown. I'm not sure those individuals aren't just choosing to go elsewhere, regardless of where the district lines are actually formed. I get what you're saying, and it does seem like there is some "anomaly" feel to Clarksville. To me, there is literally no difference in Clarksville and New Albany, at all, it literally runs together... BUT it crosses county lines.
  24. not everyone attending Columbus schools are from Columbus either. Some are within Jennings Co, Seymour, Brown Co, and Hauser Some might have a Clarksville address but in a different school district, sure, .... heck growing up, I was a Seymour address but Brownstown school district.
  25. 1... at least some of the reason was because Henryville and Borden didn't want to give money for football 2... they always have... They are closer to New Albany, really, but that's across county lines. I mean, it's hard to just absorb an additional 400 ish students. 3.... same as Columbus? Where you all haven't had district lines forever... 4... Plenty of consolidations could/should happen... people are too proud/lazy/or any number of other reasons (some being good reasons)
