Thank you! What a game

You were the first person I thought of when we knocked off the Lions 😂 It was a great win over a great team, but tonight it's definitely going to take an even better performance by the Raiders to make the trip to Lucas Oil next weekend! Leo players and fans were all over social media leading up to our game talking about how they would roll over us, Clint Dog from Warsaw and I predicted a 3pt and 4pt Raider victory and were immediately mocked for it lol, we never gooated after the win either, because the job wasn't done yet. New Prairie has been nothing but quietly confident, and to be that way is the mark of a really good disciplined team in my opinion. I have a cousin who's kids go to New Prairie, and I'm looking forward to a great atmosphere and game tonight between two great programs with awesome community support for both teams.

Hoping to represent the NLC well tonight against a great opponent. Should be a great atmosphere with a trip to Lucas Oil on the line!

We played on grass until last year and still have the old grass/ stadium for middle school & practice if needed. We played at NorthWood on grass and did alright in sectionals.

Northridge is not the same team as we were in the regular season either, and we have faced some great running teams the last 2 weeks that have had very little success moving the ball, including Leo which has multiple D1 offensive linemen. Northridge will need to block better this week than we did last night however. There's a little history between these two schools. Since 1971, Leo holds a 4-3 advantage over Northridge with the most recent being a 28 to 10 win at the 2014 semi state. Also from Stu Swartz on Facebook: Amzie Miller, 1944 Middlebury High School graduate, is a member of the Elkhart County Sports Hall of Fame. The football field at New Prairie High School is named after Amzie who was a principal in the school system for 19 years. Northridge, a 1969 consolidation of Middlebury and Jefferson, will visit Amzie Miller Field at New Prairie for a Class 4A semistate football game next Friday night. The Raiders vs. the Cougars.

Exactly right, on paper Northridge wasn't going to make it past NorthWood in round 1.

Northridge will not likely have anyone new back this week, however starting with our Northwood game in sectionals we got 1 guy back that missed the 2nd half of the season. Eppley has worked some magic at making adjustments with who we have.

I came away impressed with the sportsmanship from both teams last night! Dominant performance from the Raiders minus the tipped pass allowing a 60yd touchdown. Nothing to be ashamed of for the Indians though, was really impressed with the speed of their running back.

Northridge will head west on US20 for a rematch of the 2014 4A North Semi State.
