I’m the same when bell or karaliftis didn’t win, it’s a joke
So the kid who won it who was multiple state champ, 3rd all-time scorer, top 5 all-time rusher, 3-yr starter at top 15 power 5 school at a defensive position he never played in high school and will play in the league as well makes it a joke.
Yikes.- 2

Watch out 2A Lutheran returns a bunch of dudes with their QB
-
Didn’t think Lutheran used the last minute and change very well. Could have called a TO after forcing a punt. Instead let the clock run out. That dangerous of a passing game kind of surprised me
AC only down 14 seems like 30. Must get stop opening drive.

Agreed
I’m thinking LCC will beat Luers

think this is a bad take. CC was just a better team and most knew it. Really don’t think the new conference will help LaVille that much.
West Lafayette played those same teams and Knox beat them without completing a pass. LaVille had a good season and had some big boys but didn’t have the athletes to compete with CC.
This was one game. 6-0 deep into third so Laville was never out of it. Yes their O struggled but LCC wasn't lighting up the scoreboard either.
Laville gave Knox better game than WL did and WL throttled LCC. All kind of relative as one game isn’t always the tell all. Good job by LCC and coach Nay to get it done in Regional.
-
Congrats to Skins and Jays
Starke County prob up for grabs tonight
-
Laville had a good year
Best of luck to them in their new conference
-
LCC more than likely will have to drive the ball. Of Plummer’s 52 kickoffs 30 have been touchbacks. His leg in kicking game cannot be over-stated.
Laville has dudes no question about it. Very physical team. I expect Laville will look to pound the ball and throw over the top when opportunity arises.
LCC is more of a finesse team from games I’ve seen. Can Laville generate pressure on Metzger and/or cover on the backend. With Plummer and Czarnecky in secondary Laville has size and playmakers there. Should be a great match up.
-
Knox has never won a regional. Laville has one in 1982.
a chance to make some history.Knox/WL neither has a great defense so this could be pretty high scoring game. WL home field advantage as well.
Laville/LCC kind of mirror teams. Both have very good Qb’s and play similar defenses. If there is edge prob give LCC a little edge in passing game and playing at home.
No clue on Park Tudor. Guessing that will be power running game vs air show.

Alright Everyone . . .
On to the hardware round of the IHSAA State Football Tournament!
Congrats to Knox, LaVille, North Judson, and Triton - all among the 16 taams left in their respective Class!
The sectional championship pairings are:
John Glenn at Knox, Community Field, Knox HS, 7 p.m.
*Knox beat JG 37-8, Sept 15 at Knox
Bremen at LaVille, Lancer Field, LaVille HS, 7 p.m.
*LaVille beat Bremen 17-10 Aug 18 at Bremen
North Judson at Triton, Triton HS, 7:30 p.m.
*Triton beat NJSP 40-7, Sept 29 at Triton
-> Do those early season or mid september games mean anything?
-> Is everbody healthy?
-> Teams have their typical play makers. What are the difference makers Friday night?
What Say You?
as always, the game is better
from_the_sidelines007
Wish I’d thought of that
-
Rochester 292 rushing yds
LCC 10 rushing yards
Rochester 0 yards passing
LCC 288 yards passing
crazy stats
-
Rematches across the board for Sectional Titles
Knox John Glenn 37-8 Knox
Laville Bremen 17-10 Laville
Triton Judson 40-7 Triton
like to see a Laville LCC regional
How is the health of everyone?
I know Wilcox did not play last night for Judson.

I haven't seen Shively or any of the other teams in the north, so I'll have to trust your assessment of them. I will say that I hope the rest of the state thinks the way that you do in terms of AC not having outstanding players. Zac Wurm (he may not have played in the games that you've seen due to injury) and Keegan Bluhm are among the best in the state in terms of small school football and I'd argue that a there are several others on the team that would start for most, if not all, 1-3A schools.
I thought I was complementing them as a team, I apologize.
-
Forgot about Park Tudor. Nice athletes but schedule won’t do them any favors.
-
Two cents worth:
have watched all the major players for 1A North. Think it comes down to four teams. No particular order
Triton.
Triton’s Shively far and away best player and athlete. But he can’t do it alone.Adams Central
AC most disciplined and prob best coached team. No real outstanding players but play great together.
Carroll has some nice players and play some good defense but not sold as their schedule is really poor. Won’t know for sure till Regional.
North Judson has prob the best 4-5 specimens you will see. Can their supporting cast plug the holes?
-
Must have been decent as the two bottom dwellers stepped out of conference last week and thumped their opponents. Caston beat unbeaten team.
🤷♂️ -
Rochester should have joined HNAC for toughen up schedule😜

NJ sagarin rating went up by virtue of beating Pioneer. Triton’s sagarin went down after beating North Newton. Judson is now rated higher than Triton.
Judson Pioneer was once again tale of two halves
NJ scored 6-0
Pioneer scores 8-6
NJ scores 14-8
Pioneer scores 14-14
NJ scores 20-14
Pioneer has first and goal at NJ 6 with 1:30 left and crapped to bed and didnt score…NJ kneels half. Took sails out of Pioneer for sure.
All NJ second half game over
It’s all about match-ups. Don’t think Pioneer matches up well with NJ just as I’m not sold on NJ matching up with Triton. Different style of play for strength/weakness determines match-ups.
-
Pioneer with their QB 4-1,
without him 1-3
Apparently, hearing he won’t be back.
Disappointing.
-
Pioneer led 6-0, Judson led 19-12 at half
Judson ran for 227 yds
Pioneer ran for 209
Judson 2-3 passing TD
Pioneer 0-5 with 2 interceptions
Pioneer also fumbled key punt return.
Stats don’t tell the whole story. Weather definite factor for both teams playing a little vanilla.
Judson far and away tougher team physically. Pioneer just not there physically and cannot afford silly turnovers.

North White has a very good team, I think they're undefeated. It's good to see vintage MWC matchups, though.
Caston strength is their 4 linebackers.
All of them are really good and the two inside are dudes.
Very good against the run and I could see them giving North White some problems.

Cool part will be seeing two former Indiana Mr Footballs (Kiser and Bowen) lining up next to each other
