Oh I’m not. They’ll be in the mix. They’re all 3 good offensive teams. They all 3 have a good 3rd year starting QBs. They both have good WRs with size. FCs advantage is they have a superior RB to both teams. Bernardi might be an All State candidate.
How many yards does he have?

I do know obviously Linton is always good and that team they played from what im told lost a TON of the players from the state title team.
I assumed, but they are a private school. They tend to not have the same "drop-off" the season after as a lot of publics.

It's weird that we're into the 3rd week, and not a single Linton thread.
I'd like someone to enlighten the GID on how the Miners smashed the reigning Illinois 2A St. Champs.

I am aware of no other injuries.

IU baseball recruit. Highly rated guy in that sport.
Also happens to be our back-up QB. So last Friday we were down to our 3rd string QB, who played as well as can be expected for a soph, but it was the perfect s***storm for us.

Their running back, and right off the top of my head I believe his name is Cal Gates, left the B-North game on crutches. Is he out for the season?
No, he's not out for the season. I don't know his exact status for tomorrow's game though.

He's practicing. He had full body cramps.

Another tough one. We had a hiccup on punt coverage, and gave them great field position for their first score. After that, we controlled the first half. We ran the ball well. We went into halftime up 14-7. We stop them on their initial drive of the 2nd half. 2nd play of our offensive series, our QB has to come out due to what I believe were full body cramps. Don't quote me on that. He didn't return, and we struggled to move the ball. The defense played good, caused some turnovers, but they spent a lot of time on the field the last 1.5 quarters. North scored with 10 minutes to go in 4th, hit crossbar on PAT. They got the ball back with 7 mins to go, and they scored with 18 seconds left.

Guess we see why. Good showing by Linton. Up 17 with 10 min to go. Don't I look like a doofus
Linton played Decatur St. Theresa last night. They were Illinois 2a state champs last year. The Miners are not playing Akron Hoban. They picked up 4a Western instead.

Not sure if you guys saw this but it looks like the IHSAA’s late decision to move Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger down to 4A for this postseason is affecting the sectional assignments for several other 4A teams. Connersville will now get bumped to sectional 23 which bumps BNL over to sectional 24 with the Evansville area schools.
Yeah. I've never heard of such a thing. 23 has the juggernaut EC. 24 doesn't have a juggernaut, but I think collectively the rest of the teams are better.

BNL controlled the first 2.5 quarters of Friday night's game. Martinsville, with their big line and RB, wore down the BNL defense the last quarter and a half. We were gassed. They scored the go-ahead with 3 minutes left in the 4th. We dropped a wide-open pass in the endzone that would've given us the lead with a minute left.
