  1. Boone Grove at Glenn- . Seems like everyone is anticipating a big year down in Walkerton. Can Grove stop Glenn's winged offense or will its win column be barren week 1?. Grove 17- Glenn 10 Jimtown at NorthWood- Northwood starts the running clock in this one. Panther parents can hit the lake early this weekend. Panthers 48 Jimtown 7 Concord at Elkhart- Can Elkhart find its identity and dominate 6A in the North? Concord keeps it close early. Elkhart 28- Concord 7 Culver Academy at Adams- Two teams scheduling one another hoping for a Win. Adams posted a dismal 1-9 season with just over 100 points scored and 297 allowed. CMA was 2-8 with 129 points scored and 287 allowed. The Clay of the NIC North loses this one 24-10 Bishop Noll at Clay- save your admission fee and buy a scratch off ticket. Noll takes this one easy. 40-6 Lakeland at St. Joseph, Can Downey turn things around this season competing in the North? Big named RB Downey keeping quiet? STJ 34- Lakeland 14 LaVille at Bremen, Laville lost some talent to graduation and Bremen's RB decided not to come back out. Laville finds a way to win this battle of US6. Laville 21 Bremen 14 Marian at Mishawaka- Cavemen take out there cross town rivals 42-21 New Prairie at LaPorte- Cougars look to continue there success this year. While Laporte tries to find some consistency after its coaching controversy. Laporte gets sliced out of the win column 48-14 Penn at Valparaiso- Is the Yeoman era coming to an end? Will Penn open up their offense? Balis runs all over Valpo 34-0 Riley at West Side- Is the Hype real on the South Side? WS loses a 2k yard rusher. Riley loses a large part of its offensive production. This one might be close. Riley moon walks back to South Bend. 36-7 Washington at Hammond Central- Does Wash need a bus just for its coaches? HC air mails the Washington defense. 40-28
  2. I’m sure Mishawka would appreciate your patronage on their network.
  3. Penn is solid north of Kokomo. They played a young Valpo team. Time will tell. St. Joe played Lakeland. Hard to gauge how good they are. Defense allowing 17 to them would give me cause for concern. Elkhart like Penn will compete North of Kokomo.
  4. Concord at Jimtown- Two teams that struggled in their openers. I think Jimtown chips away at concord and wins a close one. Fairfield at Adams- I’m going to go with a guess here. Glenn at Riley -conference match up. Glenn has taken the last two contests. Both teams having solid outings. Going to give this one to the Cats Marian at Culver Academy- CMA takes this one. Knights are lacking Atkinsons home run ability on offense. New Prairie at Goshen- NP rolls through this game fairly easy Northridge at Elkhart,- hard to gauge Northridge, but I’m giving this one to the lions by 3 scores Penn at Portage- Balis looked good running the ball. Penn takes this one by 2 scores Clay at Twin Lakes- ahhhhh…where is Twin Lakes lol St. Joseph at Mishawaka- Cavemen by 2 scores Washington at Bremen- This is my toss up game. Two struggling teams this season. Going to guess Bremen by 7
  5. Fumbled on the 1 going into the endzone. Apparently had a few more opportunities
  6. Last I recall I don’t see any assistant coaches in the win column in the record books and jumping on an established program that has had and had success (last night). Its a lot harder trying to win when you don’t have D1 recruits on both sides of the ball. Also, a little reading comprehension goes along way. I never stated he was a madden level coach I said the new coach has put together…meaning some of his assistants. But, appreciate the poor attempt to infer anything other then what I stated. But, Adams did lose and by a large margin 5.4 TDs.
  7. Well all my predictions were on point and margin of victory as well, besides Boone Grove shooting themselves in the foot. Adams lost by 5.4 scores so I guess I know something.
  8. Are you stating it’s unfair because you’re offended by my post or do you have any relevant information to rebuttal my opinion. If not, watch the show play out….
  9. Everyone has high expectations going into every season. Bremen has a better chance at winning 2 games in the South conference then Laville making it past regionals.
  10. Still not happening….Laville put up 200? Points last season to Andreans 400. Laville wasn’t beating Hobart then or now, nor putting up 21 against Merriville. Andrean will prove to be too much if Laville ends up seeing them.
  11. Marian/Wawasee Glenn/South Central Clay/Bowman Riley/West Noble St Joe/Concord? -Guess Bremen/Goshen? -Guess Adams/Plymouth
  12. Valpo @ Penn - Balis and the kingsmen pound the rock and takes this one by two scores Elkhart @ Concord- Lions just have too many healthy weapons not to edge this one by 3 scores St . Joe @ Lakeland- they’ll look in one direction all night just like their 7 on 7s. Lakeland would have to man St Joes recruit with a 4 man bracket. Indians big. Adams @ Northridge - Adams has done nothing the past 3 seasons and it’s not going to change in the two weeks the new coach has put together his case of Madden expert coaches. Northridge by 4 scores Laporte @ New Prairie - if they can block the Cougars should take this one by 14 Mishawaka @ Marian (Mish)- Marian lost its fire power to keep up with the well oiled ground and pound of the cavemen. Cavemen by 21 South Northwood @ Jimtown- Jimtown has no one to go toe to toe with the Panthers highly recruited WR. Northwood by 21 Bremen @ Laville - what ever offense Laville decides to bring to the table will prove too much for the Lions. Laville by 28 Glenn @ Boone Grove - just a guess Hammond Central @ Washington- no clue another guess Osceola Grace @ Clay- The bishop sycamore of the North takes this one by a lot. Gary West Side @ Riley - south sliders take this one in a battle.
  13. North Valpo @ Penn Elkhart @ Concord St Joe @ Lakeland Adams @ Northridge Laporte @ New Prairie Mishawaka @ Marian (Mish) South Northwood @ Jimtown Bremen @ Laville Glenn @ Boone Grove Hammond Central @ Washington Osceola Grace @ Clay
  14. Nothing interesting to see. Since Austin White is Dominic’s brother. Dad got a new job and kids came with. Happens everyday…..Now if your speaking about Glenn’s offensive production from last season is completely gone now. Then yes it’s fairly interesting.
  15. Would that fall under properly equipped?
  16. Program losing funding? AD might of went the cheaper route. Could be a sign 🤔. Can’t hurt to call the company…
  17. What are numbers looking across the board? Not phantom players. But, ones consistently showing up this summer.
  18. What happened during the Marian game last year? Did Mungia get hurt?
  19. Bremen has 1? Skill kid and lost their starting QB. So if we are doing a side by side comparison. So what your saying is Glenn had 1 subpar win against a down Knox program? They beat Washington, Boone Grove?, Lakeland? Riley? For a combined opponent win record of 14 (above teams). Gary west side had almost 1/2 those wins by themselves. I know your a big Eagles fan but don’t be caught in the I told you so. Riley should of been #2 the last two seasons. But unfortunately the head coach seemed to have young assistants and 1/2 an o-line coach.
  20. It’s definitely going to be tough. Teaching a new line blocking schemes in a short amount of time is going to prove difficult and for them to get fluid at it by week 3 of august; won’t happen. Who have they scrimmaged? Going live against your scout D with more then likely lesser players with numbers being down won’t give you an accurate look. They’ll end up celebrating moving the ball mon-Thursday and on Friday be hit with the reality. The QB seems skiddish and appears to have difficulty connecting on the simplest of routes (last year). Good teams will bring pressure and rattle the Eagles QB. If they attempt to go spread they will struggle. The quick game is their only hope to move the ball with an inexperienced offense line. Seeing some highlights from this summers 7 on 7 team. Looked like he struggled to throw the deep ball with no D-line coming at him as well. We saw how New Prairie’s line struggled early going from Radkes offense to the spread and new prairie had guys. Adams just won’t be there the next few years unless there is an off year for teams on their schedules. That just doesn’t seem likely to happen.
  21. Looking through maxpreps and last years digest. Looks like Two Glenn coaches left for Riley. Wonder what happened there? Something the rest of us don’t know about Riley? Seems odd leaving a 5-5 Glenn that appeared to be on the right path for a struggling program. The OC Damon is he the same guy that was Head Coach nearly a decade ago? When’s the last time he’s called an offense? Has he been coaching somewhere else? Not finding him anywhere in the north’s rosters. Is this why they resurrected the wing T?
  22. Obviously, the head coach. The offensive coordinator. Not sure if he pulled his two boys. Maybe someone else can answer that. If so, Glenn’s going to hurt at QB. Believe the secondary coach followed the OC don’t know his name and don’t know where though. Not too sure. If you look at some of their Twitter looks like everyone is the same from last years team pic besides one guy.
  23. Ha, won’t be any news. That’s why I sent you to the baseball and basketball forum
  24. Basketball and baseball forum are in a different link.
  25. So let’s take a quick gander….Eagles open up with Northridge…that’s an L….Then they face a Fairfield team who was young last year and gave the eagles a scare, that’s an L this year….Then they square off with cross town rival Riley who also has a new staff. The Eagles SHOULD beat them right? Powerhouse coach and 2000 kids to choose from….I’ll leave that as a W…St. Joe is an L. New prairie ? Elkhart? Penn? And Jimtown? Chances of keeping most of their Jefferson students are slim…
