  1. Notre Dame created this narrative by refusing to be in a conference. They negotiated “special circumstances “ to get preferred placement starting in 2026. Play in a conference and let’s go
  2. I agree with you, but getting them to the 4th quarter is no easy task. They never trailed in the 2nd half until the IU game so 12 teams failed to even play them close. One possession games for Day as far as his record goes, eh, it is a crapshoot in close games.
  3. Every team in the top 20 of the CFP had a better resume.
  4. Notre Dame had one win vs. a top 25 team all year, went 0-2 vs. CFP teams, and played a cupcake schedule. Not hard to see. The Irish want in based on their name quality, not their play against a good schedule. Had they beat A&M or Miami, they would have easily made it. The Irish have had their own network for at least 20 years, NBC. The real issue is they aren’t part of a conference. Join a damn conference. Think they fit best in the Big 10, but pick one. Quit being a money grubbing hog and not wanting to share money and go win on the field.
  5. Hell yeah, the Sun Belt would be great for the Irish. Would be a great upgrade to the schedule the currently play
  6. What did they earn on the field? Best USC, that’s it. No other team they beat is in the top 25. Hell, most are bottom feeders. Look it up. As far as ESPN being in bed with the SEC, duh. It’s played out in front of us all year. Very concerning The name calling disappoints me, but hey, what do I know. Been watching all my life, the Irish didn’t earn it on the field, beat nobody
  7. Notre Dame would be 9-3 at best, more likely 8-4
  8. People that watch the games know who the best team in the state is. Hell, the Irish aren’t the best team In Texas or Florida either… Screw Bama, team lost 3 games, absolute joke they are in the CFP
  9. Terrible schedule, just awful
  10. That’s BS and you know it. Indiana has the best 2 wins in the country, at Oregon and beating Ohio State on a neutral field. If they win 3 tough ass games to win the natty, there ain’t no damn asterisk because they didn’t have to beat a team that blew 2 games against eventual CFP teams. 0-2 vs. CFP teams isn’t getting it done and with that weak schedule means no playoff. I saw this coming and I said as much while you were boasting of a guaranteed spot for the Irish. Then you double down and trash the CFP teams are basically call it a sham because they Irish didn’t earn it on the field.
  11. ND did this to themselves over greed. They get all of the money from Peacock/NBC which is hundreds of millions of dollars and apparently that super ceded making the CFP. People need to stop with the ACC was down this year rhetoric. They suck every year overall. Yes, Clemson had some great years, Miami is generally good, but there is zero depth to that conference.
  12. As I have said multiple times, Notre Dame’s arrogance and being greedy finally bit them in the ass. About time. Join the Big 10, quit being greedy hogs, quit scheduling 7-8 cupcakes a year, and earn your way in.
  13. Damn 23, how do you really feel? If you had won one of those 2 losses, I would be on your side and the Irish probably would have been likely a 6-7 seed. I love your passion for the Irish and I know it sucks for Irish fans, but maybe this brings change to the CFP that is desperately needed. Get rid of the group of 5 qualifiers, get rid of the conference title games, increase the field to 16 teams, and let’s go. Screw the SEC and Big 10 wanting guaranteed 4-5 teams each as well. Lastly, schedule appropriately. Play a couple cupcakes, but challenge yourself as well
  14. Bingo!!! ND has wanted to hog all of the money by being independent and now it is costing them for their arrogance. Keep scheduling cupcakes as again, other than USC , their best win was freaking Navy and then Pittsburgh. Scheduling did them in as it should have
  15. Notre Dame is out. 23, you were wrong again. Their resume was not worthy as I have been sayin all along. You think it is personal when I have been beating up the Irish, but the proof is in the pudding and now they are on the outside looking in…
  16. Again, who did they beat?
  17. Conference championship games will be gone within 2 years. No advantage to playing them other than financial and the reason they were played in the first place was financial. They will increase to 16 teams soon and potentially to 24 teams within 5 years for the CFP
  18. How does the weakness of the ACC make the Irish look? Worst, by far, of the Power 4 conferences and it has been for years. I will keep saying, who did the Irish beat this year? USC, a team not even close to consideration for the CFP. Next best win, Navy. Uh, ok. Pittsburgh? Give me a break!! Beat somebody. Play somebody. You had two chances, one on your home field, to get a win and you didn’t against possible CFP teams. Now, to be fair, could Notre Dame win some games in the CFP? Absolutely. So could Vanderbilt, Miami, Alabama, Utah, BYU, etc… Any of the teams 1-10 in the CFP are capable of winning games in the CFP. Teams that could win the natty though is a smaller number. Maybe 5-6 teams
  19. Unreal!!! Losing est team in college football history, breaks 30 game losing streak vs. Ohio State, and beats the Buckeyes at their own game!!! Ho, Ho, Hoosiers!!!
  20. Be honest, Notre Dame cares about football, first and foremost
  21. Notre Dame went to the weakest conference out there. Every conference offered a spot to ND, but they wanted to be independent and the ACC wanted them so bad they gave them the 5 games against deal. What a joke!!! Play for a conference that has no teams in the Midwest…
  22. ESPN is in bed with the SEC. What’s really bad is ESPN is the driver of the CFP. No conflict of interest here…
  23. If only they had the balls to play 5 games a year against the SEC or Big 10 instead of the ACC…
  24. I think Michigan State becomes a player quickly, $390 million dollars donated to the athletic program. They will be deep into the portal and now they have Fitzgerald as head coach
