  1. I think it was bundled into the Baseball/Softball/Soccer facilities purchase, they just wanted to wait until those were finished to work on the football field.
  2. Northwood also looks to be moving to Turf in 2024.
  3. I believe they are down the final 2-3 people. Should be announced in the next week or two
  4. They had 3 ISHAA reports for issues on the sidelines during games. Does not mean they are not great guys but the new coach is going to have to rebuild the entire coaching staff as well.
  5. I was told that no members that Wogoman brought with him from Northridge are allowed to come back. Apparently, there was some issues on sidelines with them.
  6. Goshen was the only school to not field a true freshman team last year.
  7. Goshen is hiring former Saint Joe quarterback Joey Hecklinski as its new head football coach, pending school board approval on Monday. Hecklinski has been a college assistant for several years, most recently serving as quarterbacks coach and then running backs coach at Ball State. He recently got married and become a father and is eager to be closer to family here in Michiana. He will be a teacher at the school, beginning in the next few weeks. He comes from a long family line of great coaches in multiple sports. In 2007, he was the starting quarterback as he led Saint Joe to the state finals. Great hire for Goshen as they land a college football assistant coach as their new head coach.
  8. Wawasee still has the position open for another week or two then the interview process will begin.
  9. I know that Goshen is down the final 4. Wawasee still has the position posted and has not started interviews yet.
  10. Wawasee Administration has not invested in Athletic resources since it turfed the football field (2018). It is a constant battle asking for even the little things like Hudl Focus (only NLC team that does not have it). The only thing we do have going is one of the highest teachers salaries in the state. Hopefully Coach Osmialowski applies for this as he is a big reason of the turn around this season.
  11. We had a strong senior group of skill position that we will miss but we have majority of our line and have a solid group of younger skill guys that will compete coming back. Also, we installed a new offense and defense last year and as we grow into it we will only get better. We were forced to play a lot of younger guys this season and get them valuable playing time which should only help us this coming year.
  12. From the enrollment numbers I have seen Warsaw appears to be dropping to 5A next year.
  13. But you have to look at all the sports as a whole. If they go independent that puts a huge strain on the Athletic Department for every sport, (not just football) which I am not sure they would do that. Not saying its not possible (Center Groove) but they have a lot more options being closer to Indy.
  14. Yes, I would say a good chunk of kids attend Fairfield, Northridge, Northwood or Concord.
  15. In the larger schools it is not uncommon to have an associate AD that helps the AD. If they 2 different people acting in that role I can see why there is more chaos in that Athletics program then there should be.
