Probably the BEST fried chicken in Southern Indiana

It has been 3 days shy of two years since the Dragons went to St Leon and took that beatdown - the last time they have lost. 49 points and EC had one passing attempt and it fell incomplete. There are a lot of players tonight from both teams that were playing or on the sidelines in that game - does history repeat itself or do the Dragons avenge that loss? Dragons -10 BTW - Cathedral’s defense was better than advertised and we all knew they were good to begin with.

I would say this one will sell out, there is room for about 4000 fans.

We could not compete with the big boys through a 9 week schedule as injuries would take their toll. Our student population is 1200, and most importantly remember our kids “earn the right to play on both sides for four quarters” - we are a little old-fashioned. Not certain who is televising but I am certainly excited for the rematch!

Let’s be honest, HS wins and losses do not matter to college coaches. Metrics - which are KPI’s by another name dictate recruiting. Remember, we are prepping these kids to thrive in the “real World”.

Get well soon, if both teams get by this Friday the NP/Cathedral game is going to be special even if only for the hype and I personally want as many true football fans in attendance as possible. Could be the last one for me with a Dragon on the turf!

I do understand taking Cathedral in this one - history, but I would say 10-7. NP has surrendered 32 points this season including second halves devoid of starters.

Swagger tends to earn you a medal with a “Red” ribbon holding it to your neck, if you plan to earn the “Blue” one it has to start with mutual respect.

The short answer is yes, but you have to understand to be one of Coach Ralph’s “Dragons” means something to these kids. It means something at school and in this town. They would play both ways and work concessions at halftime if he asked. The guy gives everything he has for his players and they enthusiastically reciprocate.
