  1. South Adams 20, North Miami 6 9:00 remaining in 2nd Center Grove 10, Warren Central 0 7:00 remaining in 2nd
  2. Deal! Best of luck!
  3. AC beating Bellmont 70-0 in sectional would be a funny story to tell your father or grandfather.
  4. $10 to the winners charity of choice? I got Garrett and you got Knox?
  5. And now Lutheran and Adams Central are well on their way to being in 3A in 2026.
  6. West Lafayette was down. I picked Knox in that game lol
  7. The strength of schedule is based off of their results against other teams. It's literally just numbers and you know what they say about numbers right? This one seems real personal to ya. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over the results of this game. Hope your son plays well. McLaughlin put up a whole lot of those numbers against a whole lot of stinky Culver, Caston and Winamac teams. I'm not impressed. To many people screaming about bias and not enough people actually putting in the work in this day and age. If you want something to change then do something to change it.
  8. You obviously have no idea how the Sagarin rating works. The Sagarin rating, including the strength of schedule rating, are a dynamic ratings system updated weekly. Griffith literally lost to the only two average or better teams on their schedule. Pioneer just got blown out by Taylor. LaVille is down for them and Jimtown was inconsistent. Garrett beat WN twice, which is hard to do with good teams. Garrett beat Lakeland twice, which is hard to do with good teams. Garrett beat the breaks off of Fairfield who beat CMA who beat Knox. It's close, and I think its gonna be a good game. I could see Knox winning by two scores if things go their way but personally I'm picking Garrett in a close one. It's not as cut and dry as you think it is.
  9. This is hilarious because Garrett's SoS is about 15 slots better according to Sagarin. Garrett bodybagged potential 2A state champ Adams Central.
  10. Nothing is ever fair. Single class isn't fair. Success factor isn't fair. Privates aren't fair. Life isn't fair.
  11. I'd like to stay on btowncoach's good side.
  12. I think you're underrating this Garrett team a little bit. I think these teams will look across the line of scrimmage tonight and see a lot in common personnel wise. I could certainly see Knox running away with it, they know how to win come tournament time and Garrett really doesn't have that experience.
  13. Bermuda grass is often considered a better option than artificial turf for football due to several key advantages: Player Safety and Comfort: Shock Absorption: Bermuda grass offers natural cushioning, reducing the risk of injuries like abrasions, joint strain, or concussions that can occur on harder artificial surfaces. Traction and Grip: Natural grass provides better traction, helping players make quicker, more natural movements and reducing the risk of slipping. Performance: Natural Playability: Bermuda grass allows for a more authentic football experience, offering better ball control and bounce. It adapts to weather conditions, ensuring a consistent playing surface throughout the season. Variable Playing Conditions: Natural grass can be maintained to optimize its condition, giving teams the option to adjust the field for specific types of play (e.g., wet conditions, dry conditions). Environmental Benefits: Cooling Effect: Natural grass has a cooling effect on the field, which is especially important in hot climates. It absorbs heat and provides a more comfortable playing environment compared to artificial turf, which can become significantly hotter. Sustainability: Grass fields support biodiversity, improve air quality, and can help with water absorption and flood prevention. Aesthetic and Tradition: Visual Appeal: Bermuda grass is aesthetically pleasing and offers a traditional football look, which many players and fans prefer. Cultural Significance: Football is traditionally played on grass, and using it helps preserve the authenticity and history of the sport. Maintenance: While artificial turf requires minimal upkeep in terms of watering or mowing, it needs regular cleaning and can be prone to wear and degradation over time. Bermuda grass, although requiring regular care (mowing, watering, etc.), is a more long-term sustainable option when properly maintained. Overall, Bermuda grass offers a combination of player safety, performance, environmental benefits, and tradition that makes it a better choice than artificial turf for football.
  14. According to @rob it has been changed so that the sectionals will realign on a yearly basis, so I'd assume their spot will be filled if possible. Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to what the IHSAA will actually do.
  15. Put me down for Decatur Central, Heritage Hills and North Judson all going up.
  16. Inshallah brother
  17. Maconakawaka has a real shot, much better squad than Maconaquah.
  18. I shoulda been reading the EIAC thread all year man smh, where else can you get poetry about highschool football?
  19. It's New Pal-esque in that it's kinda a suburb of a suburb of Lexington but with 900 kids. One heck of a program. Always have a tough schedule. This year they played and beat defending 6A runner up Lexington Tates Creek (48-8), 6A semifinalist Lexington Frederick Douglass (38-17), 3A semifinalist Lexington Catholic (51-7), on top of St. Edward and a really good win against Lexington Christian.
  20. Those were all real scores from this year. I'm very aware. Have some good friends who went to Boyle County. They'd smash anyone else in Kentucky this year. The enrollment gap is far smaller in Kentucky than it is in Indiana. Btw Boyle beat St Edward by 17 points. St Edward lost their other four games to maxpreps National #34 Massillon Washington, maxpreps #80 Glenville, maxpreps #96 Archbishop Moeller and #68 Archbishop Hoban by a combined 17 points. Boyle isn't just beating people. They're stomping mud holes in good teams.
  21. Louisville Trinity 23, Lexington Frederick Douglass 13 Louisville DuPont Manual 35, Frederick Douglass 28 Louisville Male 31, Frederick Douglass 28 Boyle County 38, Frederick Douglass 17 GIVE ME THE REBELS
  22. All valid! Maybe one day. What about Perry Meridian?
  23. Beware ManBearPig and avoid Casa Bonita mate. No room for the other Mid-State schools and the Hancock County schools in this potential realignment?
  24. I want something more. Gotta change Basketball Day in Indiana to John Harrell Day or something.
  25. His love for this state and the student athletes of this state needs to be commemorated in some sort of way by the IHSAA. They should name the HoF tournament after him or something. I would have burnt out 20 years ago.
