Solid in basketball with D1 caliber players. 3 baseball sectionals in the last 20 years. Wrestling shares 0 athletes with football. Swimming….country club. Track has Lanesville in its sectional dude. Maybe that’s the bigger issue that FC needs to figure out. Why can’t they share athletes who can help multiple sports? Too much specialization. You’re right. Let’s add Providence back to the schedule so we can beat our chests about beating a 2A program. That’s FC in a nutshell. You play top tier competition to prepare to win it all. Male wasn’t added by a football coach, neither was Elder. ST. X was added to replace Madison and Providence. Smaller schools won’t play FC in the area, most don’t have room in their schedules. Basketball school has won 3 sectionals since mid 90s and had how many big name applicants this spring? Coach Sturgeon is one of my best friends, love the guy. FC is a country club sport school. When I was there with Glesing, it was “he doesn’t throw it enough to win.” Now Bragg can’t coach. I can tell you the number of coaches from big name programs who applied when Glesing left, I helped vet the applicants. Same number as right arms my dad has. He’s an amputee. Not one from an Indy school or Louisville school. How’d the staff meeting go today? I know they we’re meeting around 6 and was hoping you could provide details. I can't believe you continue to sit behind a computer and say ignorant stuff, but here we are. Dominated? It was 21-14 in the 4th quarter, and FC had 3 turnovers to that point. But good try. Underachieved 3 years in a row? 3rd sectional in school history, more kids playing college ball, including the first ever D1 scholarship player, than ever before, but underachieved. Yes Stan. Bragg wants to play the best of the best if possible. He doesn't schedule the games. I was responsible for finding a Week 2 opponent last year when we played Elder since I have contacts in Ohio from my college playing days. We never even looked at an Elder like program. That, along with every other game on the schedule, is locked in by people/person above him. Donate more and maybe they'll let you choose a 2A program to get some Ws.

BTW, Bragg never scheduled Male or Manual. And football is 100% funded by fundraisers and the booster club. You are a typical FC fan.....play a soft schedule so you can talk about your precious wins and losses, and complain when the competition gets ratcheted up to get better. If I gave a damn, I'd go back and find all of the mentions you have provided over the years about how much you love Bragg and the staff. You are the epitome of a Floyd Central fan. Never said I didn't care about the fans, or that I think high school football is better without those pesky fans. Simply implying that fans talk a lot about a lot, and more often than not, they know very little about what they are talking about. Coaches don't listen to a word of wisdom that comes raining down on us from the stands. They are better coaches and officials than anyone down on the field. That's all. We are playing Male for, at minimum, the next few years unless something changes.

No. Not unless that situation is involving a prominent member in the IFCA community. We lower the flag to half mast only for the most important (and that term is not the right one) dignitaries in our country. We have holidays only for the most important people in history. And, in my opinion, leaving the lights on should be reserved for a very select few situations/individuals.

The Bowsman Strong movement was to honor a man who made a who difference on and off the field. It should remain reserved for men of honor on the gridiron. It should not be used as a movement every time someone in the state of Indiana wants to honor someone or something. It should be reserved for an elite level of situations.

If you’re in anyway implying that the HOFer running through ship for the Braves isn’t prepping his 2s and 3s and Fr/So for the future, then you done lost your mind. His record isn’t what it is because he isnt developing players and his program. if you are implying other programs do this, research those situations before you judge too quickly.
