I agree. Just was reminiscing on what has gone wrong with the once mighty Kingsmen, can they ever recover and bring the crown back to northern Indiana. Or for sake of thread, is the 6A title forever a "Indy area" title for the taking, unless there is a "team of the decade" out of the North. I believe it is, Indy area schools will win 9 out of 10, maybe 14 of 15, with a flyer school from the north that has a seasoned team ever once in a while. FYI, seeding will not making a difference in larger class football, JMO

I can buy into the Penn youth leagues not being good or having poor competition outside their area. Not sure about regular season opponents, they have a weak conference, but have normally played 2-3 out of conference higher caliber teams. Why were they so dominate in the 90's/early 00's, but not know. Maybe coaching and no more Geezer?? Coaching, coaching and coaching!!!!

Good question 😀!! I'm serious on the content, just because a coach is successful at one level doesn't mean he will be successful at a different level. In most cases it is when a coach goes up in level (Saban, Holtz, Rhule, Spurrier, Moller, Callahan and many more) that they are not as successful as they were before. Not sure when a coach drops a level especially from college to high school, I don't recall any. So Saban to Edinburgh sounds great, he may or may not make a difference I guess ??

No, Saban is a good college coach. He sucked in the NFL. So coaching from high school to college and NFL are different. You should know that. If not ask Gary Moller or Lou Holtz

From the outside, I would say success in high school football comes down to coaching, coaching and coaching. That feeds into coaching support at the lower levels feeding into the high schools, more so 5-10 years ago and earlier before the transfer movement,

Don't think seeding the big schools will change the end result.

If you live the expected life span of a male, I think that that gives you another 40-45 years. I bet you they win one before you pass. Bet you beer, can meet at the Wings Etc. on McKinley when 40 years is up, or sooner when they win one on in next 1 to 20.

Yep, I looked at and they beat Penn twice. Penn and Dwenger have never played from what I can see.

I was just about ready to post something on that. Last year most asked if Snider could stay within a TD or 2 of WC would that be a moral W for the Mighty Panthers of Snider. Well, they went to WC and kicked their a$$. Then we heard, well maybe WC is in an off year?? Just waiting to see how these years game plays out. I know Snider has some O players to reload on, but D should still be pretty stout. I may have a make the trip to the FWA metroplex for the game. Never sleep on Snider, I think Tippman has it clicking now.

4,000 seems kind of small, what does Dwenger, Carroll and Homestead stadiums seat? Maybe the 4,000 is max for the space, If they put where I think they would.
