One of those prediction sites had Fountain Central beating LCC 35-28 or something close to that in 2009. I swear to God they did.
#Fakenews sounds like Puff who predicted North Daviess running back would have scored 4 times and had 300 yards in 09.
Why would someone from New Haven come in with the hot take of the week that SA would beat LCC's butt? The problem with that hot take..........................We'll never know because SA couldn't kick the butt of AC when it actually mattered.

It'll be interesting. A classic in contrasting styles. Playing SA last week definitely helps with the game this week.

Pulling for the Jets in a close one. Thinking 1 TD win, hoping for more.
Hopeful for 96-0?

I know I'm just taking the bait, but I totally disagree. Helmet to helmet hits happen during the flow of the play. Some are intentional, but I would say most are not. The NJ hits were not intentional by my judgement. Throwing a punch, or open handed slap, have nothing to do with the flow of a play. There is no place for them. I don't believe that the kid deserves to sit out next week, but I disagree with your assessment about what is more detrimental to the game.
Did I make an assessment?

NFHS should go to the targeting rules lower colleges do. Toss the offender.
What’s more detrimental to the game an opened hand slap or a helmet to helmet hit?

He took a swing, which is ejection-worthy in itself, whether it connects or not.
It’s ejection worthy, no doubt. You’ve left it open ended. Watch the clip. Do you eject?
-
He deserved an unsportsmanlike penalty but ejection for reacting to a targeting (which was the 2nd targeting shot he took in the game to that point) seems like an overreaction.
-
They did call the targeting. Open hand slap didn’t connect. Seemed kind of soft given the blow to the head the player just took.

Great Run down!

LCC will have their hands full. Traders Point looks disciplined on film and they are efficient in what they do. They haven't played a tough schedule, but they've taken care of business. They did struggled in the 2nd half vs Lutheran. That will help them on Friday.

Any Hudl clips of Traders point? I would love to see what they do, size of kids, etc etc

You’re barking up the wrong tree.
LCC lost to the runner up by 4 and the state champ by 3.
Didn’t lose by 35 to where ever Cass ends up.
I’m out for the day, going to go watch a really good player on an irrelevant team, I’m sure you’ll be tuning into ABC to watch an irrevleant player on a good team. Maybe then we can figure out who the better player is.

Bell plays for a 2-5 completely irrelevant Purdue team. Not sure what point you're trying to make but it should be pointed out that playing wide receiver is the easiest position on the field for an incoming freshman to earn immediate playing time. That, and running back. Other positions usually take some time to transition. But everyone knew Bell was athletically gifted and that is what is needed for a freshman to get playing time at that position.
It seems as if some are trying to denigrate the Panthers for losing to the number 1 team in 2A by saying "See, 2A is so much tougher". Well, doesn't that argument then denigrate your own team that plays in 1A?
Well, I was simply answering a question I was asked.
But since you brought up denigrating of programs.... I know one program that competed in 2A and one program that hasn’t yet.

Why do I have to be the 1st to tell you Mr. Football has ZERO to do with success in college?
So Bell got that much better at football over the summer because of the Purdue training staff.... Duly Noted.

Does this somehow validate Kiser’s Mr. Football from last fall to those doubters?
Not really given what David Bell is doing this season.

Wooo... Rude awakening for the Panthers in 2A and post season play without an ND recruit.

So a lot of the members on here might not realize. After this week traffic on this wonderful forum is cut down immensely as football seasons end for half of the state. We are just $658.99 away from having another free year of the Gridiron Digest. Now is the time for the final push. We just need 67 of our peers to donate $10.00, but the GID will accept any donation. Come up with a creative number, One poster donated the number of points his team scored on a rival, someone else donated in honor of a high school football fan that is no longer with them. If you donate $25.00 or more you won't have to deal with pesky ads invading your football information space. If you are in a thread that doesn't have a lot of donors make a quick plea to donate, it's simple, safe, and secure!
I will keep an running total as we get more donations in the title.
Let's reach the goal of $3000.00 before Friday night's kick offs!- 4

Congrats Cass. I believe this is the first time someone not named WL or LCC has won since the creation of the cross over.

Just laying out all possible angles. Officials don't apply to the girls basketball tournament because of the level of play. I think you'd see that mentality carry over. Especially when the average age of officials in this state is 50+.
-
I think you'd have officiating crews turn back tournament assignments in that lowest class. It's not worth being in the weather for 60 bucks + mileage for low level football.
