After my latest round of consumption of information available:
COACH NOWLIN BEARS WISH DRAFT 2.0
1. Mason Graham, if he is there at 10, Bears cannot put the card in fast enough ( not likely)
2. Will Campbell: If he falls past PATS at 4 or anyone else, I would support this pick. Braxton Jones, last year of Rookie contract, if he was extendable, he would of been now, guys simiular to his grades got about 20 million a year, not sure that is something Bears want to do, so get a PREMIUM guy, short arms and all.
3. NO CAMPBELL: FINGERS crossed Jeanty is there, then trade down to a high bidder,
4. Trade down, get more picks, from all accounts, talent is DEEP in the Bears Needs, already have 3 in top 41 picks, you can trade down and potentially get HAMPTON out of UNC late 1st, or wait on RB and get the kid from IOWA in rounds 2 or 3 and get a tackle like BANKS, SIMMONS after you trade down.
I hope is SNOWS and its 25 degrees in GREEN BAY

Ultimately about 5 years ago the NCAA is to really blame because they're hubris got the best of them and thought that they would just win every court case coming their way and they sat there idle knowing that they were just going to have this security immorality clause in their corner
Instead they get caught with their pants down and the Wild Wild West has occurred and now they're scrambling to catch up to try to. Oh what's the word that I've been saying all the time now
Establish guardrails yep, that's the buzz word phrase
Good luck with that

Bears must think so as well....made him the highest paid slot corner in the league.....$40M extension ($31M+ guaranteed)
Yes, he is very productive at that spot, a menace around the line of scrimmage off the blitz and run game help along with doing well in coverage. He was selected 39th overall in 2022 and has lived up to that and thensome imo

All started December........
Again, if the so called Power 4 and rest of D1 coaches in football want to send a message of solidarity, this player does not get to continue next year and rots in the portal

I have looked in many places this morning
Do not see any name from any media / school
sure would be nice if folks would just let the process play out instead of being the "cool guy" who thinks they are in the know to be "first" to break some sort of news
Feel free to post something from somwhere that states who Bremen has hired from their board minutes

Another off season priority met!!!

Can we agree that something like this was inevitable? Now, the question is, how commonplace will it become?
Sources: Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava entering transfer portal, coach Josh Heupel tells team
'No one's bigger than the program," Heupel said before the Vols' spring game
Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava has submitted paperwork to the school to enter the transfer portal, sources told Yahoo Sports' Ross Dellenger.
The redshirt sophomore's time in Knoxville is expected to be over, and Tennessee held a team meeting on the matter Saturday morning where head coach Josh Heupel informed players of the decision.
"No one's bigger than the program. That includes me, too," Heupel told Vol Network's Brett Hubbs before Saturday's Orange & White spring game. "We've got an opportunity. We've got a bunch of guys who are going to give their all for Tennessee. We move forward."
Iamaleava did not attend practice and meetings on Friday amid reports that he wanted to renegotiate his NIL deal with the program. (Iamaleava's father disputed a story by On3.) His absence was unexpected and people within the Tennessee program were reportedly frustrated by the attempt to change an agreement that was the richest in college football when Iamaleava signed it in 2023.
The No. 2 quarterback in the 2023 recruiting class out of Warren High School in Downey, California, as ranked by Rivals, Iamaleava signed a four-year deal with Tennessee and its Vols Club collective for a reported $8 million, with $2.2 million of that to be paid for the 2025 season.
Yet the NIL market for quarterbacks has seen major changes recently. Carson Beckreportedly received $4 million from Miami after he transferred from Georgia, while Darian Mensah will get the same in his deal with Duke upon transferring from Tulane.
The spring transfer window opens on April 16 and will close on April 25. To be immediately eligible, Iamaleava has to play for a school outside the SEC. The deadline for transferring within the conference and being eligible for the following season was Feb. 1. Yet the winter transfer window was from Dec. 9-28 and Tennessee was competing in the College Football Playoff.
In his first full season as Tennessee's starting QB, Iamaleava threw for 2,616 yards and 19 touchdowns (with five interceptions), completing 63.8% of his passes. Additionally, he rushed for 358 yards and three scores on 109 carries. Against Ohio State in the CFP, Iamaleava completed 14-of-31 passes for 104 yards while rushing for 47 yards and two TDs. The Vols went 10-3 overall.
Redshirt freshman Jake Merklinger is in position to take over as the Vols' starting QB with true freshman George MacIntyre also on the depth chart. However, Tennessee's NIL collective has begun checking on potential transfers, according to ESPN
If coaches/Schools want to send a message......
they don't cave to the agent of this player and let him sit in the portal......... This is not the NFL, there is no collusion clauses for something like this and if reports are true, another gold star for Dan Lemming who supposedly tipped Tennessee off that the Agent was sniffing around for a better deal

United Center holds a lot of people and Bulls just built a practice facility nearby downtown, same with Hawks....
I am still on my Wsox Boycott until Jerry sells or his days on this earth have come to an end
He gets no more $ or time from me........ Been 4 years since I went to a game there (used to go 8-10 times a summer) and last time I was in the stadium was when I was invited for Batting practice and to shag fly balls on the field on a Goose Island promotion that my good friend invited me too from his Goose Rep at his place he owns. That was fun, hacks, frothy refreshments and food all on the house....... But I digress.
(oh, the cute story of Wsox winning 1st 2 games of year has quickly fallen to the 8 losses in a row)

Not sure if it was the fastest but Sheridan literally scored I believe on the 1st play of the game with NZ at QB 2005-2009 each time we played them, for sure 3 years in a row, not sure in 2005 legendary game they won 35-32, but I digress. For the record, same play each time I think @Ballhawk

Yuck. I don't. Retractable roofs just add a tremendous cost and complexity to a project, costs that will of course be born by the taxpayers. The Bears need to built a traditional open air stadium or something like the Buffalo Bills are doing with their new stadium.
Weather is part of the game.
The Plans are for a DOME and not retractable, I know you are very smart man, so understand that the Chicago Bears are not building this stadium to be used for only 10 Sundays a year, they want it all, Super Bowls NCAA football/Basketball/UFC/WWE and list goes on. You do not get that in Chicago land by leaving it as an open air stadium
Next thing, Kevin Warren has been on record mulitple times that the stadium itself, just the stadium will be privately funded
What he did say was they needed munciple help in Arlington, perhaps that could become a tax issue for the residents, talking roads, drainage, et al, but not stadium itself which is more than acceptable to me.
I think this is the media session from last week

I can certainly see how fans living in the Illinois side burbs would love the proximity and not needing to go downtown. Is it easier or tougher access for the IN region fans?
For me, it adds about 40 mins or so farther trip.. I have zero qualms adding that to the commute, the guy I have tickets with lives in Fort Wayne, so many times if we go all together he comes to my place night before and go from there, but we are both very limited these days, with my football schedule, his very successful career and 2 HS kids himself at Homestead, it can be a chore. Don't get me started on the $1200 tax bill we had to pay for our money we made on selling this past year....... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
