I could name a half dozen posters on this forum that have more legitimacy than Doyel…I’d read them in a heartbeat.

Coach Nowlin Appreciates the kind words about him!!  🙂

Just caught up from a few weeks off, here,  couple of things I will add.

    1.  What a bummer to come on thread and not see a single darn post about what an OUTSTANDING Playoff game that Alabama and Michigan had.  It was what a college semi final game should look like, 2 giants going toe to toe with Michigan making a few more plays to pull it out....  THAT is what I was hoping to see at least a handful of comments....but I digress...

    2.  I can confidently say that anyone who has posted in this thread has never sat in a room with Nick Saban, I have, it was UNBELIEVABLE, say for 90 mins in a clinic in Mt. Pleasant Michigan, this was when he was at LSU, I came away saying, I SEE why he is so successful, WOW,  I literally have every single note I took from that clinic still in my "football folder".   To discount his success is silly.

  2. This is the NFL in nutshell.   Commish calls it parity.  I call it being less crappy from week to week.

Not enough good Lineman to start in the NFL to keep all the quarterbacks healthy which means not enough good backup quarterbacks which means you get a subpar product week in a week out

Horse feathers!  He was a man among boys at the high school level.  He was quite mature on and off the field.  As for my attendance at Cathedral football games, it's somewhere in the hundreds.  I saw my first one in 1955 And I've seen a lot of 'em since. I wish I would have kept a journal all these years, but I probably didn't expect to live this long.

I know Cathedral is on a different planet then mosts but it's not very common for an 18 year old to come in and just start on a B10 team, i think you understand this.

I'm sure he will have an impactful years to come, just didn't happen this year.   Question is did he save his red shirt???

    Please stop.

Product on the field has progressed nicely this season, Flus has some responsibility for that.  Seems like he has a locker room full of Loyal players to him, in NFL, that MEANS a lot.   The impact of Montez Sweat has been OUTSTANDING which has been backed up by own naked eye along with the data posted.

So @Bobref,   assuming you are saying, give you Harbaugh and call it a day?   If not Harbaugh, who would you suggest be a good choice since you have moved on from FLUS.

Sorry for the hi-jack Coach, but have you or anyone else watched Quarterbacks on Netflix? Kirk Cousins is one of the 3 QB's featured and I became a big fan of his after watching.  Not only a talented, hard-working professional, but seems like an incredible husband, father and overall human being.  His acceptance speech after receiving the Bart Starr award at the most recent Super Bowl was outstanding.

On my winter break to do list

  7. He brought his All Star 7 on 7 team back in like 2005 to Purdue for big 7 on 7 tournament.   We were in their pool, that was fun, we hung with them for a bit......

I forgot the other team we were against, however, they just saw a bunch of 5'10 white dudes and just tried throwing fade after fade after fade....we won that game.

Then we get to play inside the indoor facility and playing a catholic school from Holland MI, there was Tiller, Brian Rock, and like 8 other Purdue coaches all gathered watching this dude from Holland MI throw 40 yard deep corner routes on the dime back pylon, over and over and over, needless to say, we could not defend that.....that QB....Kirk Cousins.

  8. And Travis true backup is going to be back no problem, you know the guy who went into the SWAMP and won.

Ultimately, this Monday morning, I shall just blame Brohm Corp and Jack Plummer.   They could have helped but chose to SUCK, so.....
