I was only one off in my prediction for sectional 28. I actually think they did a pretty good job of putting the sectionals together, I just don't understand why 30 and 31 aren't flip flopped for their regional match ups. oh well.
It’s hard, if not impossible, to keep everybody happy. There’s always going to be a bad call or draw: I call it life.

Should be interesting to see how Sectional 1 turns out--gotta give a nod to Jeff at this point...

That's awesome! I'm a big Michigan fan, but Wazzou is my #2. Cool to see someone from the Hoosier state committing to the Palouse.
Great area of the country to be in. Good luck, Mr. James.

It’s an art form, so I am told, but you probably need to start slowly....good manners if nothing else....warm hands help too.
No doubt they’ll be appreciative.

Good luck in figuring it out. All of this conference alignment/membership can be tough. I never like to see kids going a long way to play games, but sometimes it’s necessary for the sake of competion.

Hammond voters approved a new school building referendum, with the likely outcome including the closure of both Clark and Gavit High Schools
That will leave Hammond's 4000 high school students split between Hammond High on the west side (new school) and Hammond Morton on the east side.
I love the potential of this new setup.
Both Hammond schools could become a contender in 5A down the road.
And a big boon to Region football in Northwest Indiana to boot!
Numbers/high enrollment does not translate into success on the football field.

Yes, I know that. What I'm saying is they are a private school so if they want to do, they can. They don't need school board approval.

Being that homerism is trending right now, I would be remiss if I didn’t add the Lowell Red Devils. A weak NCC holds them back come tournament time...

No. Adding a 3A team that can’t win a sectional to a 4A team that can’t win a sectional does not make them ready to challenge Penn, Carmel, and Center Grove.

Thanks, coach—the IHS double A has a very tough task.
