What's even more crazy is that they had a miracle applicant who has more than a decade of head coaching experience and program building who didn't even get a second interview. A person well respected by coaches across the entire state. Never heard one negative thing ever said when their name comes up. Truly mind blowing.

I will be honest, Sheridan was never a place where the children exactly fell in line. Always been pretty rough, and willing to bet probably rougher 20, 30, 40+ years ago. I remember my brother telling me about a senior putting a cigarette out in his freshman locker....gold old days lol

Best conference! Miss it!

I would stay away from this job until the current AD leaves at least.

Related but unrelated, rumor has it there has been an old familiar face lurking around at practice....

Congratulations Coach Wright on his 700th win this past Friday. So fortunate to have not only played for him but to have been a family friend.

Take a trip up north and you will see it a lot more.

I loved it while in school at Nebraska. I am not sure every game was that high of a score, from what I remember both teams were usually around 40+. From a fans standpoint it is a lot of action and exciting to watch. It is a completely different game, and I think is a very viable option to keep supporting football at every level in Indiana.
