  1. Warren Central kinda disappointed me tonight. 0-5 against Center Grove (last win was back in the 2019 opener). The Warriors did show some positives. Their pass rush is going to be difficult for their opponents. They host the defending Michigan D3 (now D4) state champion Detroit King next Friday in what looks like a great game. I hope for a bounce back.

  2. Greetings everyone. I'm back from hiatus and ready for some Warren Central Warriors football. This week, the Warriors travel to Greenwood to take on the two time defending Class 6A champion Center Grove Trojans. Center Grove was voted out of the MIC back in December. This will be the last time Warren Central and Center Grove will play each other as the Warriors will be playing Snider next year. Can the Warriors put an end to the Trojans' 28 game winning streak? Leave your predictions below.

    Rise as One Warriors!!!

The reality is, many of those top players from North Central 30-40 years ago would likely be at Carmel or Cathedral/Chatard today. North Central got hit *hard* by out-migration (primarily to Carmel) much earlier than the other township schools did. The Lawrence schools probably were next (primarily to HSE, but Mt. Vernon is now getting a lot of ex-Lawrence kids), and then Pike/BD (to Zionsville/Brownsburg/Avon).

What about Warren Central? When did it start having out-migration problems?

I agree with this. Every team needs them. It’s high school. Even the best football programs are not at their best each year. A program needing to get things going definitely needs to find games that they can win.

Also to note, North Central is the 4th biggest school in the state.

    Fourth largest behind Warren Central

True, guess we sort of agree.  Fully prepared to admit I’m wrong or ask for help with my memory here but outside of last year’s Gibson Southern squad I’m struggling to remember a recent state championship team that had an unstoppable air attack as their base offense.

    Either way it’s rare.

What about Warren Central? I remember that the Warriors used to rarely throw the football back when I was in high school. The 2018 team was very much an aerial team. And this is a 6A team. Previously was in 5A before the addition of a sixth class
