Looks like Charlestown and Scottsburg played tonight. Scottsburg won 34-0.

Mitchell names former BNL baseball coach Jeff Callahan as interm AD. Not sure what happened to Amos but obviously strange timing.

Think weather is gonna get some games close and hurt these throwing teams. Should see some fun results.

Look at the 2 teams in my thread leading the charge!! Go ahead and make Springs Valley 8. Highly doubt a team left on their schedule will keep it remotely close

Went and watch the PLAC youth league today. Every team has some decent athletes coming. Some have a few monster sized kids (looking at you Perry), but came away most impressed with Crawford county. My 6th year watching this youth league and gotta say that was probably the best CC team I can remember. They didn't win (don't know if they have won all season). But they weren't scared. Mitchell actually had to make some drives. Usually it's just 1 play drives for the opponents and game gets ugly quickly. They had couple kids who could get outside, pretty good fundamentals all around really, and some good looking new uniforms. Also they had people in crowd really into it and engaged (1 really loud guy in a good way) that cheered no matter what. On top of it all had about 20 kids in the 5/6. Just a few years ago they had to play 10 on 10 after 1 kid got hurt. Will it lead to wins in the future? Who knows. But right now it appears that maybe they have the team going in right direction. Props to them and who ever is coaching those kids because i was surprised by them today

Brownstown beat Salem 54-12. Brownstown #40 is fun to watch! Valley beats WW 55-15. About what I expected. WW just has too much work to do. Paoli next week won't help. Paoli leading PC 40-0 at half. What in the hell has happened at Perry Central?

JV Paoli-14 Springs Valley-12 in OT Very entertaining game. Should be a fun rivalry game for the foreseeable future.

I didnt but if I had to guess they are pretty young, new offense and defensive schemes, and the addition of trying not to have many 2 way starters (although still a ton rotate in both ways). Defense starts something like 6 sophomores and a freshman. They also have struggled taking care of the ball first 2 games. 7 or 8 fumbles (not all lost but you get the picture).

NH played Salem in a JV game (Salem won 24-6). Also looks like they played each other Saturday (scottsburg won 28-0).

Should really up the amount tho. I'm sure in lopsided matches coaches will shoot for the 35 to get the running clock. Given JV may score at least once I'd say you should make it 43+

That dang safety cost us! We missed all the XPs but 1 to try and stay off here. 😂
