  1. Current 1A Champs Providence have added 5A New Albany, 2A Ritter and 2A Indy Scecina. Replacing Christian Academy of Tenn, Madison, and Milan. Still have what appears to be couple openings on Harrells
  2. Might wanna double check that math
  3. North Daviess moved up after winning 1A to 3A. Didn't read this far. They dropped back to 1A.
  4. I'd assume he'd be number 2 this season behind Miller Moss (USC transfer). Helps that Pierce Clarkson left. Hope he gets on field. Always cool when a semi local kid gets time at a big time College
  5. Playing 4A really this bad? Shesh. 😂
  6. Clarksville will officially play Pekin week 2 according to Harrels. Means WW has an opening presumably week 2. Curious if they add Tell City
  7. Looks like Silver Creek assistant took the Pekin job
  8. Need a hardwood digest apparently
  9. We start a new each year....no worries. We aren't Hoosier hills....this would be derailing that monster of a thread. 🤣
  10. Coop is a nah....mentions Barr reeve and loogootee but they have enrollments of 278 and 225 respectively. Barr reeve has enough on its own if it wanted to (it never will). But would you classify them with enrollment of 503?
  11. Agree. I dont follow his page. He is definitely more of a "big school" guy and that's not our area. His coach interviews were always good reads but he can't keep it without a hot take for too long.
  12. Do you remember a guy by the name of DT that was a poster here? It's him.
  13. You think if they lose in regionals or sectionals next year they are gonna shave off the 60 kids or so needed to stay down since they wont get SS points to move? Trust me I'd rather see Valley any day over Providence but hard to picture spending 20+ years in 2A just to dip your toe into 1A winning it all and then suddenly going back. Did however see they scheduled Indy Ritter and Scenia next year.
  14. I dont argue about private public debate or say they are shaving numbers or purposely keeping them low. No point. I just said above it's a possible reason when families had to make budget cuts when people were being cut out of work. I dont know why they are fluctuating so bad and to me it doesn't matter.
  15. Providence in classifications 2019/2020-385 2022/2023- 327 2024/2025- 371 Currently 418 Last enrollment breakdown (2024-25) freshman-102, sophomores-104, juniors-87, seniors-78. As I said looks like smaller classes during covid enrollment times. Although now bigger then recent history.
  16. My honest non conspiracy theory thoughts? Parents had to make a choice during covid....numbers went down.....now they are coming back....winning state title may help. Haha. Need to get Paoli to lose some more and see how they do in 1A.
  17. Not much change in this area. Providence looks like it's for sure up to 2A regardless.
  18. Paoli QB Fletcher Cole commits to Oakland City (for basketball). Congrats to him. He's a pain on the court....glad he's gonna be gone but fun to watch. 2 Paoli seniors playing next level as Jaxson Reynolds (OL/LB) committed to Taylor.
  19. Just to clarify i meant CC not SV. No shot at beating SV since 2020.
  20. This past year the 5/6 had about 24 players. 3/4 had 28. Just did a quick facebook search. Had rosters. Showed a 20-0 win over Trinity Lutheran (maybe they are trying again?) Believe they played a JR high schedule too
  21. I disagree with alot of this. WW just had back to back semi state appearances. Brownstown has success. Paoli and Springs Valley had good teams last few years. Pekins biggest problem (to me) is the MSC. They can't get any traction in that conference. If in PLAC they beat WW and probably beat Mitchell and CC. Last few years most likely better then Mitchell and SV. Hard to get kids excited when you ain't beating 4A programs and constant programs like Brownstown. So generally at best your 2-7 going into tourny. They've beaten WW 2 times in history. Clarksville going independent lost them a win. If I'm MSC I let them go independent in football. Im sure some of the others would like to schedule others. Pekin can keep WW and Salem. Add schools like Clarksville, Crawford and Henryville (if they make it to Varsity). Maybe keep some of schools closer to your size/ability like Corydon. I dunno....just spit balling. But if they aren't committed to it long term the kids won't be either and no coach is gonna mess with it unless it's just a way to get experience. Just pull the plug if it's true and let schools get future games worked out.
  22. Think they (pekin) talked about it couple years ago and don't believe it went over at all. Probably a better fit in PLAC but not sure it'll ever happen.
  23. Seems crazy. Numbers aren't bad. Support always seemed good fan wise. So would they leave the MSC and join somewhere else or would MSC just try and add like Madison to fill the football part? Never thought Crawford may outlast them.
  24. 2.5 openings already? Clarksville, North Harrison and (suprising to me) Pekin again.
