Providence at Springs Valley the game of the Week? Winner could go to Semi state.

Mitchell (+14) at Brown County Rough first year for new coach Zach See. Hopefully he can get some growth next year and some more wins. Jr high wasn't too bad. Eastern Pekin (-38) at Paoli Pekin has same year as Mitchell really. JR high was about equal too. Really thought they would be more competitive this season. Paoli on other hand is what we all thought. Really good. They have 1 more game after this or 3? Cant wait to see it. 16 seniors but good teams at all levels will keep paoli in PLAC contention for many years. Tell City (-42) at Crawford County Crawford got first win last week after 35 straight loses. They wont win but Tell City after the injuries may just do enough to get out injury free. Crawford looks better even if score dont show it. I think they cover. West Washington (+4) at South Decatur i dont know why im picking them. Both teams are pretty bad. Taking the long bus ride team is usually wrong so i guess im just hoping for 1 more. I say WW pulls it out 21-20. Perry Central (-4) at Tecumseh Perry has been pretty mediocre. Surprises me really. But that's better then bad and that's what Tecumseh is Providence (+3) at Springs Valley I have honestly argued with myself all week on this. Both teams are good. Valley finally gets them at home. They will be amped up and ready to play the team who has ended their season last 2 years. Im sure Valley has been saving some things for this game. Im taking Providence, but won't be a bit surprised if Valley wins. Should be a great close game either way. Silver Creek (+1) at Connersville Dont know much about either so I'm taking home team. About all I know to do. Haha Charlestown (+52) at Martinsville Spread feels too high but Charlestown has really fallen off. Welcome to 4A i guess? Hopefully their future is better. Scottsburg (-31) at Owen Valley Owen Valley really fell off after having couple good seasons. Scottsburg will be ready. Think they cover. North Harrison (-7) at Corydon Once again banking on Corydon to cover and maybe even win against County rival. Hopefully they do after the tough week they had. Brownstown (-35) at Switzerland County Probably a beating. Spread feels low. Clarksville (+28) at Salem Same as above. Salem isn't that bad. Playing better as season goes on. Clarksville is really bad. Running clock incoming. Bonus Game of the Week: North Knox (+7) at North Davies Wanted to take North Daviees but they really don't blow anybody out. Won by 6 in meeting few weeks ago. This game js tough to pick too. JV for them seems pretty good. Maybe good teams coming?

Not a big boy game but Crawford County ends a 35 game losing streak defeating Clarksville 24-16

Week 9 Match-Ups: Clarksville (-7) at Crawford County Someone has to win. Do i truly believe itll be Crawford? No. But i really want them to. Im hoping they cover. Gimme Clarksville 21-20. North Daviess (+21) at Springs Valley Mudas favorite team once again somehow has a low spread. Nobody has came close to competing with them since Paoli beat them in week 3. North Daviess has a good record but didn't really think they were that good when they played WW. Gimme Valley in another tune up before the showdown with Providence. Valley wins 49-14 Paoli (-28) at North Knox Another team with a seemingly low spread. North Knox has struggled and are typically a tough game for the rams, but not today. Rams 48-12 Perry Central (-21) at Mitchell PC hasnt looked good all year. Mitchell has looked worse. Luckily for PC most the PLAC is pretty bad. I'll take PC 42-18 West Washington (+7) at Salem If WW comes within 7 of Salem I'll stop crying about the flexbone offense for a whole week! WW struggles to score. It'll only take 20 points to easily cover. Don't think this is close. Salem wins with colts cheerleaders watching 42-6. Eastern Pekin (+4) at Charlestown I'm taking the Pirates mostly because they are home. WW is the only team to let Pekin score more than once all the way back in week 1. Charlestown seems bad too but maybe less bad. Charlestown wins 20-6 Providence(-10) at North Harrison Some how North Harrison lost to Salem. But have gone 6-1 since. Providence just got through taking it to Corydon. Providence is fast and big. Maybe they have a let down looking forward to tourny time? Maybe. I'll take the Pioneers to get it done with speed 35-20. Scottsburg (+17) at Brownstown Best team in MSC conference looks to wrap up against a good Scottsburg team. Brownstown has it all and looks ready to make a run to state. Can they? Maybe. But we got time to talk about that. I look for the Braves to finish off things on senior night with a bang. 48-21 Silver Creek (-3) at Corydon First off thoughts and prayers to the Corydon Players, coaches, and community after the sensless tragedy that happened over the weekend. I cant fathom losing my child that early. Im rooting for them to come out ready to go and win on senior night 24-21. Bonus Game of the Week: Tell City (+1) at South Spencer Tell City lost their studs. South Spencer is usually a tough team. Ill pick them this week 28-6.

Was about to say how it seems something had happened at Tell City because they have fallen apart lately. Haha. I'd bet on Salem. Think both get beat in finals. May get to see North Harrison/Scottsburg or Madison finals too

Looks like Paoli would be at brownstown 2nd week of sectionals. Got my first 2 weeks planned out.

Went to Providence/Corydon game tonight. Finally was 52-21 Providence. Providence doesn't seem quite as good as last year but they are still good. QB is really really fast. The Pass Defense does have some hole. Have a good kicker too. Hit a 31 yard FG probably been good from 40-45. Them vs Valley should be entertaining assuming the meet again in sectionals.

Mitchell (+46) at Paoli Mitchell hasnt looked good all year and the PLAC Champs should take care of business in the one Springs Valley (-25) at Perry Central Once again way too low of a spread. Muda's favorite team will win this week again by 35+ West Washington (-21) at Crawford County Really wish this was higher like most Crawford games so I could try and sneak a CC vote but not even WW let's them stay within 3 TDs right? RIGHT?! Brownstown Central (-24) at Silver Creek The Braves machine should continue the MSC dominance against the Dragons as the await my anticipated match up with the rams Charlestown (+3) at Salem Charlestown has struggled to score on everyone not named Corydon. I feel like Salem is better then their record suggest, but I really don't know. Spread feels about right so I'll bet on Dent and the Lions Corydon Central (+17) at Providence Corydon has no D. But they score on everyone when the weather is nice. Providence just beat a very good Milan team. This feels like a trap to me but I don't have the guts to pick the Panthers. Eastern Pekin (+28) at Scottsburg Eastern has looked bad outside of beating WW. Really thought Salem gave would be closer. +28 feels like a halftime spread. North Harrison (-42) at Clarksville Clarksville let WW score 39. NH should score 78. They won't but I don't see Clarksville hanging around. Bonus Game of the Week: Heritage Hills (-56) at Princeton Feels like a trap but I'm not betting against best team in 3A. Maybe @JQWL will pull that trigger.

O I agree. I've been in honest in my opinion but I also know I'm no coach so I'm not gonna pretend I have answers either.

Sectional 48 is turning into a meat grinder. 4 schools in top 11 of sarg, but that isn't counting Providence 2 out of state games. I've watch Providence couple times and they aren't as good as last year. Offense struggles at times. Think this week against Milan will be a telling story if they are ready for a state run
