Yes, can't forget about the Titans right now. Heard Brady throw for around 410 yards last night in an whooping against Boonville. -
State Contenders...Any Darkhorses?
TigerFan20 replied to MICFan34's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Sadly, Memorial will most likely not go to state this year. Since this our down year. But will have the possibility for another run very soon, due to a lot of people returning and losing only 3 starting seniors. You never know with Coach Hurley and his tigers in the post season. My Predictions: 6A. CG VS Westfield or Carmel 5A: Cathedral VS Valpo 4A: Hobart VS Mount Vernon or Mooresville or Roncalli 3A: Chatard VS Danville or Southridge? 2A: Andrean or Eastbrook VS Heritage Christian 1A: LCC VS Lutheran rematch -
I forgot about that

Memorial -Castle Game: Memorial had an solid game against VL, is looking for their 6 straight game. Castle had a strong defensive night against the Bears holding them to only 14 points, while the offensive struggled. Tigers are still trending upwards, make no mistake my fellow Tigers, Castle will be wanting this one. Memorial in a tight one, 14-9 Memorial Bosse-Harrison: Who will get their first win on the season? Let me go with Harrison, 35-21 Harrison Reitz-MD: MD is surging past their opponents recently, while Reitz has lost 1 of 6. Though Reitz, has been the best this season they will put up a fight against MD, but MD will squeak the win out like last years game. Never underestimate Coach Goebel's Wildcats, 31-28 MD Jasper-VL: The new bloods in the SIAC finally face each other. While Jasper has proven itself to compete in the SIAC, VL is still getting used, however, they have kept some games close to enough for their advantage. Give them a couple of years, but Jasper will spoil this one for the Alices, 28-10 Jasper Game of the Week: North-Central: Though we wished they would be 8-0 facing this week, this will be good match up still. Bears are the SIAC Champs once again, while North is looking like they may repeat another 5-4 season, after losing 3 straight. Huskies will be hungry for an victory, but the Bears are too good right, 38-16 Central

Memorial Harrison Central Mater Dei Jasper Week 8 Game notes: -Central is one hell of an team as they are the SIAC Champs. The offensive did its job, but that is one stout difference on holding the Knights to an FG. - Jasper overcomes a late victory against North. That was also an great game for the WildCats, as they will go against VL this week -North continues to trend down, after losing their 3rd straight game. Will be a huge statement to go up against Central -Castle had a great defensive night, but had an terrible offensive night against the Bears. Big one coming up this week against an hot Memorial team. -Memorial wins their 5th straight game after dominating VL and holding them to just 6 points. They also won with their Backup QB who had an amazing night. Can the Tigers continue their streak against Castle and go 6-3? -VL struggled offensively all night long against the Tigers. But did well defensively, good a few sacks and TFLs. Bounce back against Jasper? -Reitz has finally figured their offense and break their 5 game losing streak. Can they upset the trending Wildcats? -Mater Dei and Coach Goebel. That's enough to say. -Harrison and Bosse still struggles. Who will get their first win on the season?

Final Scores on the Night Memorial over VL, 21-6 Jasper over North, 23-16 MD over Harrison, 49-15 Reitz over Bosse, 49-0 SIAC Champ Central over Castle, 14-3 Any surprises on the night? Discuss below: Memorial's backup QB did very well tonight going around 12 of 13 with 120 yards with no turnovers after Pence went down in the 2nd quarter. Memorial's defense was dominant on the night with 4-5 sacks. For VL, the offense struggled the entire night, however, the defense was pretty solid as they had a good amount of TFL and around 3 sacks.

Good luck to all the teams tonight! If I am reading this correctly, but does VL only have 27 players on their roster, or is it not updated?

Any word on the Madison Kid at Central? I heard he has been out for a while

Updated Predictions 1. Central, still the clear favorite in the sectional. Possible Central V Memorial rematch in the final? 2A. Memorial, going to give Memorial an slight advantage due to their side of the bracket and Jasper playing Central 1st Round. 2B. Jasper, moved back 1 due to them drawing Central, however, they are still in the run for S24. Is this an home game for Jasper? 4. Northview, after doing a little research, they have an pretty good defense and leveled offense. Will be an interesting game against Memorial. Any Northview fans want to comment? 5. Boonville, be ready for the Bears, Boonville. 6. Reitz, semi final bound, will be tough against Memorial or Northview. 7. Harrison

It will be either Mooresville or East Central in the Regional

Anything on them, since I am unfamiliar with them this year

In the midst of the draw tomorrow here are my leaders for the sectional: 1. Central-Definitely the favorite in S24 and most likely face East Central or Mooresville in the Regionals 2. Jasper- Can't count out the WildCats, kept it close with Central 3. Memorial- Contender? Possibly, they are the defending 4A State Champions 4. Boonville- Mockobee is very good, wouldn't surprise me if they make it to the finals 5. Northview- I honestly do not know too much about them this season 6. Reitz- Could get lucky on the draw, but I doubt it 7. Harrison

I believe Tory is the only Evans left for Central, since I am pretty sure he is the youngest one.

Reclassification 2021 Season
TigerFan20 replied to FridayNightLights's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Never underestimate Coach Hurley and his Tigers, did not think that Memorial was going to win state last year or even an sectional. But, yes, it will be tough for us to even make it of sectionals with Jasper and Central in it -
MD-Harrison: Expect an blowout, MD, 55-0 Memorial-VL: 2 surging teams in the SIAC, both going in the same direction. Memorial is coming off an blowout win against Reitz, while VL pulls off an impressive victory against North. This has an potential be an close game. Also Memorial has an chance to disrupt Castle next week, if Castle wins this Friday. Don't get me wrong my fellow Tigers, the Alices are an sneaky team and will give a fight, but the Tigers pull away late in this one. Memorial 28-14 Reitz-Bosse: This was an close game last season, expect another one in my opinion. Reitz 21-10 Jasper-North: Oh boy, this will be a fun game to watch. Jasper and North are on an 2 game losing streak as the enter the upper half of their schedules. Though both are 5-2, and still have an decent shot of getting the SIAC. However, only one will be closer. I can see an shootout or an close game, but I am choosing the WildCats in this, Jasper 31-24 Game of the Week: Central-Castle: The biggest game of the week, as Central faces the mighty Castle Knights. Both with outstanding defenses so far in the conference. Coach Hurt has an chance at the SIAC for the first time since 2012. However, Central's offensive is superior to Castle. It will be great one throughout the entire night, but as the clock clicks down to 0.0, the Bears will be the victors in this one, Central 24-14

Mater Dei Memorial Reitz Central Jasper Week 7 Gamenotes - Central is pretty good when scoring. Clear favorite in Sectional 24 - Castle is very underrated as they beat an good Jasper squad, will be an tough 2 weeks for the Knights. Possibly the favorite in their sectional - Can the Wildcats bounce back this week against North? North will be hungry for an victory after losing to VL - VL pulls off the upset and has won 2 straight, while North is starting to trend downwards. Big game for the Alices this Friday against an improved Memorial Team. - From losing 3 straight in an brutal schedule, the Tigers are now 4-3 on the season. Completely dominated Reitz the entire game. 5 straight for the Tigers this week at VL? Or does the Alices have an trick up their sleeve. Postseason will be something to watch, contenders in Sectional 24? - MD is now trending upwards on their 2 game winning streak? Contender in their Sectional? I think so - Harrison, Bosse, and Reitz continue to struggle offensively and defensively in their games
